Perfect for my need. Almost. Perfect enough. I placed this clock over my very large screen TV so that when I get lost in a TV series, I can keep track of time. You know, especially at night when I have to work in the morning. Look up and see that it's 1 AM and I have to work in a few hours. Without this clock, I might binge TV all night and get fired. You don't want me to get fired do you? I like that it's red. Red does the least amount of "damage" to your night sight. I also keep it at it's lowest setting so as not to distract from my TV. Large enough to see and dim enough to not distract. Keeps great time too.

I initially bought just one of these clocks in red, and because I loved it so much, I immediately bought two more; another red one and a blue one. I love that they have the DST feature, battery backup which remembers the time and date when the power goes out, and they have the 5 dimming settings. They're very easy to setup and seem like they're great quality. The red color is great, but the blue is a little too washed out for my taste, though. And, while I doubt I'll ever hang them from a wall because I HATE seeing exposed cords hanging down, it did come with the screws to hang it, if I wished to. I put one of the red ones in my pool room and bar because it can be seen easily from 30+ feet away, even on its dimmest setting with all of the room lights on, and I put the other red one over the cabinets in my garage. I initially put the blue one in my dedicated theater because it matched the room colors, but my 11-year-old son loved it so much that he made me put it in his room. So, I might buy another one to go back in the theater, although it might actually be too bright (even at its dimmest) for the darkened theater when the projector is on. Additionally, I think I'm going to put another red one under our covered patio, because we should be able to easily see it from the pool. Hopefully, it'll resist the elements somewhat; it won't have direct exposure to moisture, but will be outside all year, so I guess we'll see what happens. Side note, I wouldn't think that these would be great for a nightstand, because they're just so big and bold, which is great for a lot of areas, but they might be a tad overpowering at close range, even when on their dimmest setting.

Very nice clock with a clean design. Keeps good time. I got the classic red LED color. Front lens is clear, not tinted red, which I like. There are five brightness settings. I find the middle setting the best - not too bright at night but still visible in a brightly lit room during the day. Numbers are big enough for me to see first thing in the morning without my glasses. See pic for size of clock. Clock can sit on a tabletop or be mounted to the wall. Included is a paper template for installing the screws in the right spots on the wall. Nice touch. Instructions for setting the clock are also included, although I found the markings on the setting buttons intuitive enough to not need the instructions. Plug is standard USA plug. No international adapters included. I am 100% happy with this clock. It’s perfect.

Nice red digital wall clock. The numbers are bright and easy to see, even from far away. The red LED numbers are not too harsh on the eyes but still visible enough at all times.. Looks good on the wall and works well. Happy with it.

Great looking clock used the mounting stickers then after 2 month it fell and broke, so use the nail glove to secure it

Use this as a workout clock and it has been perfect. Great visibility across the room and the size and ability to mount it on the wall makes it easy to track time between sets

Well, the older you get the bigger the numbers need to be I guess. But I like the Clock overall it is easy to set. It keeps really good time. I was thinking of getting one for every room.

Soobest SO801L Blue Clock review. Item works great and is accurate. Pros and Cons. Pro: Lightweight. Solid build. Excellent design. Blue light has 5 brightness levels. Backup button battery keeps time during power failure. DST button in case you live in a DST free zone. It runs on wall outlet plug, included. Has settings for date(not displayed, only for DST), so DST will function properly. Large display with Hour/Minutes/Seconds. Excellent manual, written in perfect English. Even came with screws for wall mounting as well as a paper ruler to mark the distance between the screw holes for the wall. No Cons. I failed to set the year on the clock and when DST came around, it changed the time 1 day early. The year was set to 2053 and since I was running in military/24hr mode, I thought it was the time since it was around 8pm when I set it up. D'oh! DST isn't always on the same days every year, it depends on the year. I tested the battery backup, brightness levels, DST and even tested the Soobest support team when I had a "user" issue with DST. Tech support Yoki was awesome. Responded each time within 24 hours. Written English was great. Instructions given via emails were accurate. Excellent item. I'm happy. It's worth the $19.99 I paid. I love the large blue lighting. It's nice on the eyes.

This LED digital wall clock has very large thick white numbers that I can easily read no matter where I am in my open plan kitchen, dining room and livingroom area. The seconds are handy for when I am cooking something on the stove that requires one more minute of cooking. The auto DST ability will be appreciated this Spring when I don't have to change the time on this clock. Thus far it is keeping excellent time. I have it standing on a cabinet near the TV at eye level rather than up on a wall.

Not UK Plug. If you advertise a product on UK Amazon and it doesn’t come with a UK plug you maybe should mention it in the description.

This is a good looking clock, and I was very, very, disappointed to find that it had a USA plug on it. As I understand it, t's not enough to buy a US to UK adapter, as the voltages are different and therefore wouldn't keep time correctly. Additionally, the description is incorrect in the advert, it states that a back up battery of 2 AAA's are needed, but it's a cell battery. Thankfully, I received a full refund, almost immediately. The arranging of the return was much more time consuming and slow, eventually, I was advised to keep the item. International sellers are required to provide a UK address to return to, they didn't, they gave me an address in the USA and were very slow to finally advise me not to return it.
