NifelizMaus Tank Building Model, WW2 Collectible Military Panzer VIII Tank for Adults, Army Model to Build and Display, Gift Ideal for Military Fans (NF10289)

My 13yo is fascinated with tanks, especially WWII tanks. He went off on a tangent talking about "mouse tanks" last fall I had no idea what he was going on about, but figured if it was something he was interested in, I should learn. He wanted to build a tank model, but when we started looking at traditional model kits, he found the painting to be too intimidating. So, I bought him a knock-off lego tank set and he loved it. I found this knock-off lego Panzer Maus kit, which he got for his birthday. We are having a ball putting it together. The best part is that I get to have quality time with my 13yo while he is laughing a smiling and we are doing something fun together.As with every similar set I have seen, sometimes the pictographic instructions are a little opaque, but we have figured it out in the end. It is not fully assembled yet, but we have had no missing pieces and a small collection of extra parts.I say knock-off legos because they are copies, but the quality is the same a what I expect from the real thing and the set feels just like it came from Denmark.

good build quality and took a couple days loved it

I have built four Nifeliz tanks and one plane previously. This was by far the best build yet. As usual, the directions were specific and did not present any problems. The lighter colors are a bit difficult but this is normal based on previous builds. There were no loose fitting parts (huge improvement over the T-28 build)and all parts were present except one. Although nothing that would prevent the finishing of the build, Cici at Nifeliz responded back to my email quickly and has shipped the part (expected in 10-15 days). I highly recommend this model to others and hope future projects provide the same quality as this one.

No missing pieces. Excellent instructions and labeled bags. Really fun build for my 13 year old.

These models are not legos and thats what I like about them. More like models, and Im saying that it becomes realistic that it actually needs super glue at a lot of points or the results are catastrophic.Is the challenge to try to make it frustratingly through the model without it exploding?The build was smooth at first but as you progress you will find some steps left out and ultimately the design is super fragile. Pieces will fall apart but eventually they will come together. The model has excellent detail especially inside the turret, but and but. All of the detail is hidden away. You can take pieces off I guess. In the end it is for sitting on the shelf display. If you start to move pieces one will fall off then another and another. After all the work its just a big boxy tank that though rather large just doesn’t look that great. Im going to tryto rebuild the bad parts with my own plan. But all in all the end result is boring. I put it back in its box in several pieces. After 2500 pieces and time spent an underwhelming result.I suggest getting the Cobi Panzer VI Tiger. An excellent build.I’m going to try another Nifeliz build in hopes that that I can still respect this company.Let you know.

Picked this up for my wife who has been building Indiana Jones sets and wanted a tank. This is one of our top go to companies when searching for set.The parts are compatible with other major brick companies. The instructions were easy to follow but we did have a few issues with parts not snapping together as tight as she would like. The quality control for the parts and design keep us coming back, we have SEVERAL sets from this company. The price per piece count shows in the detail of the models and is very reasonable.Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this set and this company in general. If you've never looked into Nifeliz you should!happy building :)

Turned out pretty good and was fun to build. I do recommend building it on a free day though, because it took me about 6-7 hours. Definitely worth it though since it was very relaxing in a way. Pretty big too, the turret itself is almost as big as the t-34 model they have. One of my favorite lego type of purchases.
