I've been using FITAID series of recovery drinks already for a while and when I saw that they came up with the tropical flavours I decided to give it a try.I like doing my gym early in the morning before I hit to work. After workout I was feeling always tired and sleepy for the rest of the day until someone offered me to try the recovery drink from FITAID. This really changed the whole workout thing in the morning.Starting with the flavour I really like the tropical hints in the drink as they are not very intense, not very acidy from the orange or too sweet; it is very well balanced. The carbonation levels are not too high so you drink up and it's going to come bubbling up your nose.Moving to the benefits, I really appreciate the ingredients:- branched-chain amino acids (or BCAAs), these will help to restore the energy and prevent proteins starvation in your muscles after an intensive workout- electrolytes, these buddies will help you to a restore fluid levels and energy in your muscles- 40mg of caffeine gives me that boost in the morning, that keeps me going throughout the dayOverall, I believe early morning workout is a very good way to start your day and FITAID recovery drinks are just what you need to help you with that.

This drink looks and sounds the part - the packaging and design are high quality and the list of ingredients as a post workout drink are spot-on.The drink provides vitamin b complex, vitamin c, vitamin D3, vitamin e, electrolytes in a low calorie (40 kcal per can) beverage, sweetened with stevia.The flavour I received is Hawaiian Nectar. The drink is naturally flavoured with agave nectar and citrus flavourings. The taste is quite natural and is akin to a good quality fruit juice, with a slight aftertaste from the artificial sweetener. For me personally the taste is a little too bitter - I prefer my drinks to be sweeter. If you like such as grapefruit juice then this drink would be ideal. I would definitely try this brand again if there was a flavour that I felt would suit my tastebuds better.The drink is packaged in a tall 355ml can, wrapped in plastic. While this gives a high quality look to the product it does mean that plastic is being used unnecessarily and it also made drinking from the can a little uncomfortable as the plastic protruded above the lip slightly (you may be able to see it on the photo).At around £2 per can this beverage is of a typical price point for the benefits/ingredients delivered.

Not a fan of the taste, or aftertaste for that matter. Almost chalky, and unpleasant!

If you are looking for a refreshing drink after your gym/home exercising then look no further than this Post workout drink from LIFEAID. There are afew offerings in the flavour department, with a Strawberry Lemonade, a Mango Sorbet, a RX (Black Cherry) and a Hawaiian Nectar which is a mix of Passion fruit, Guava and Orange, which is the flavour we chose. This actually reminds me of the Totally tropical flavour from another drink brand.These arrive in packs ]of 24 cans, 355ml/12 oz sized, which is about right for a drink, although I have a larger sized bottle which I have poured 2 cans in (I am not sure if that's a good thing though, as each can has a variety of vitamins in to help with your post workout recovery, but so far everything is fine). There are also electrolytes, and BCAA to further aid the workout recovery (BCAA's help to stimulate the building of protein in muscle and possibly reduce muscle breakdown).Unlike other post workout drinks, these has not left any aftertaste which is essential for me. It does taste a little bitter, and for me would be better slightly sweeter, but that's a personal preference of mine and isn't too bitter.Overall a great tasting post workout drink.

The bundle arrived safely. However, each drink had a harsh plastic cover which was near the rim, this was an unpleasant experience and the taste didn’t appear to match the plastic covering of Hawaiian Nectar, Passion Fruit, Orange & Guava, whilst there were no aftertaste I didn’t like the flavour, after a fews weeks of arrival, I noticed that the cover could peel off . I peeled the plastic and it would appear that the true flavour was revealed, the tin stated Mango 🥭 Sorbet, I would say that it tasted like a 🥭 mango flavoured drink. Despite the taste, the major issue is the nutrition information ℹ️ was different e.g carbohydrates. Therefore, this is totally unacceptable it there was a blatant cover-up. Furthermore , the Mango Sorbet is cheaper than the so called limited flavour “Hawaiian Nectar, Passion Fruit, Orange & Guava”, As I dont have another can without a plastic covering I can’t compare. So I think it is fair to give a slight benefit of the doubt and reward ⭐️⭐️
