I have hair down to my back would i need the two boxs ?

Yeah maybe even 3 depending on thickness ...i have shoulder length hair plus I've been using this colour for a while so if ur starting from scratch more is better to ensure coating then u can judge urself after that ... hope that helps

Ive been using live xl colour for a year or so can anyone tell me if theyve switched to this does the colour take really well?

I am naturally dark haired with 2 grey stripes at the front.I will only use this colour and brand and have done so for about 16 years as it makes my grey hair darkest red while the rest is dark.I only really touch my roots 5 to 6 weeks apart.OK it is not a natural colour but it's not too OUT either. My weapon of choice as it makes for coloured, shiny and confidence, also it is not runny.I leave it on for 35 minutes and have never had a fail with it 100% best hair colourant in my opinion.

How long it takes time for dying hair

That really depends on how much hair you have or if its grey/ dark etc, i have dark hair and grey roots, so my colour grabs really quickly, i usually leave it on for about 30 minutes just to be sure
