These are easy to use. All you need to do is set the time by adjusting the individual 15 minute markers. You can customize it however you want. You can set it to be on or off multiple times per day if you want. It works really appropriately and keeps proper time, that is to say, I never had an issue with the timer being off over time. I’ve mostly used them for Christmas lights and lights on my aquarium. It’s got a streamlined look to it that is completely intuitive.
