Good release methodology
Good book for fascia release. Lots of pictures & explanations. The only downfall is you need to purchase the equipment to use with the exercises.

Stretch On, baby!
This book opened my eyes to how effective proper stretching can be. Slow and steady wins the race here. Don't let the book's "thin" profile deter a purchase... it's what's in it that counts. The info is straightforward and proven. Stretch On, baby!

feel better with Franklin Method
There are some great exercises in here! The pictures really help me understand how fascia works in my body, and I feel great after doing just a couple exercises. I'm so happy to find that using the balls to balance and strengthen gives me a work out on so many levels, including the fascia stretching. My favorite exercise involves putting two balls under your glutes, and one mini roll under the lower back, and balancing on those first, then working abs by lifting your feet. You get a great glute massage, you can feel how flexible your pelvis is, and you're using all these tiny little ligaments you don't get to in yoga or strength training. And you wouldn't believe how addictive the Franklin Method fascia peanut is because of the tingling spaciousness you feel after using it. I really recommend getting several of these slim books by Eric Franklin and just picking exercises at random every week. They have a great effect on my body, mind and energy. Franklin Method is more than working out - it teaches you to feel fabulous in your body!

Better Books For The Money
This is really a booklet or a pamphlet. It is fewer than 50 pages long and two of those pages are an advertisement for the equipment. If you know nothing about using equipment for fascia release and don't have access to viewing a live video then the pictures will be helpful. I also think that if you are a beginner it is better to have a live teacher who knows about injuries, etc. If you are a beginning teacher it is probably a good instructional guide about how to talk to people. I have taken several Franklin classes and many Pilates and Yoga classes plus had physical therapy classes for overuse injuries (swimming and jogging) and a severely sprained ankle with a broken foot. This book added nothing to my knowledge or my practice. I am giving it two stars only because it has some good pictures and may be useful for some. I would have given it 1.5 if I could & I really don't like advertising in a pamphlet that I paid nearly $20 for. Returned as not worthy of space on my bookshelf.
