It is just as described. I got the green- it's just the shade we were looking for and is just as pictured. Not a dark green- has hues of mints and light teal in it. It isn't super thick, but we didn't expect it to be. We did put a rug pad under it which was a recommendation from the tag on the back of the rug and it's very nice to walk on with the pad. It's a little scratchy- not bad, sort of like a wool- but some people may not like the feel. So if you're looking for something really soft this probably isn't for you. But too thin! I kept it, because it looks good, but the rug will not hold up to lots of use. It is in my guest bedroom so it will probably be Ok. I have a couple with a dog in the room for two months so we’ll see how long it lasts. Because it is “natural” it is not soft when stepping on it. But it fits the room size, so I kept it.
