Handy to carry on the bike and quickly lock it up
Easy to use and small enough to carry on the bike to the destination. Works great for what I needed. Seems beefy enough to resist the would be thief.

Good for locking helmets.
I bought it not to keep my e-bike secure, but to lock my helmet. It’s fine for that. I like the short length. I had two, and when the first one wouldn’t open, I didn’t realize that WD 40 would work, and broke it off with about 5 minutes work prying it open with a nail remover.

Solid product for the price
Solid product for the price. I don't know exactly as pictured it performed exactly as described. Sm sound odd I'm not actually using it as a bike lock so the security of the being out in public is not a concern of mine but from feeling the item with the thickness of the cable it would take some effort to cut the cable on this. Ultimately no matter what you use if a thief is walking around with bolt cutters they'll be able to get through just about any bike lock. For securing a scooter or a bicycle and a area with average crime I think this is perfect it's lightweight and easy to use if you have a very expensive bike or other item you may want to consider investing more and a bike lock to keep it more secure. Make sure you read the entire description because it gives you appropriate warnings as does the packaging it's very easy to set the code to whatever you want and it's easy for you to change the code if you want to however what that also means is if you have a child using the lock who's playing with it they can easily change the code and once you change the code you HAVE to remember it if you don't the lock becomes completely useless. Scenario your child is using this as a bike lock and is messing around with it and messes with the dial accidentally resets the code doesn't realize it and keeps playing with the Diles then when they go to use the bike lock again they won't be able to because they don't know the code that they set. This is a manual lock not an electronic lock so there's not a way to reset the code without knowing the previous code. As far as I'm concerned this is standard with this type of lock it's well mentioned in the product description as well as in the very simple instructions that come in the packaging. I would definitely buy this again

Can't get it unlocked--have never been able to use
We have never been able to use our 2 pk of locks. We changed the lock code from the default on the first one and while shutting it, the numbers must have shifted and we can not open it. Fortunately, we were still testing it and only closed it without using it to secure something. So, based on this experience and others reviews we have read after having this problem, it appears that we were lucky to have only been testing it and not have an issue of not being able to retrieve an item after securing it. We cannot trust that this will not happen with the 2nd lock we purchased, so will not be using either. We discovered this only days after the 30-day window to return them had closed a few weeks ago. We have used resettable combination locks for many years, so we're pretty certain this is not just a user error. Very disappointed that we were too late to return both.

Get one for every bike and one to give away
I have one of these for every bike my family owns. They are the perfect theft deterrent and always on the bike for easy use. If you are going to leave your bike anywhere for a long time, then get a D lock or a chain lock like the one in the photo. But this thing can attach to any bike or scooter or wheelchair so that you can secure to something for a short visits into stores and wherever. If you are putting it on a bike, then I recommend wrapping it around the seat post three times so there isn’t any excess. You won’t even notice that it’s there until you need it. I’ve had some of these locks for 5–6 years and I just purchased three more… one to use, one to give away, and one to have spare in the garage for the next bike/scooter/friend that needs one 😎

Good for certain needs, but not for security
I bought this mini lock for a bike tour across the country (USA) and it worked extremely well for that application but I would never trust this lock to keep my bike secure otherwise. I loved the size and weight for the tour, it was exactly what i needed and I used it the whole 3 months many, many times but I only used it as a basic deterrent, no one is going to steal a fully loaded touring bike that has a lock that will take 30 seconds to kill, they'll just move on to the higher end bike without all the baggage. I liked that I was able to make my own code, and as I mentioned, the size was perfect for a travel lock. This little guy saw a lot of states.

The lock is very short, you can barely tie the bike to anything. My bad, i should have looked at the measures instead of just trusting the picture on Amazon.
