Good quality display with great input options
Good quality picture and just what I was looking for in terms of combination of inputs. It has speakers, which are useful if you need them, but they're really pretty feeble. If you were intending to listen to music or like a decent soundtrack to your gaming, you'll probably want external, additional speakers. Not specific to, or an issue with this monitor, but since buying I've learned the hard way that DisplayPort inputs really needs a mini or full-size DisplayPort laptop output to feed in to it. A laptop with an HDMI output can't easily input to a DisplayPort input without expensive active adapters (not just physical adapters). Lucky this monitor also has an HDMI input!

Overall very happy and the image quality is great
Great picture quality and a nice finish to the product all around. As mentioned in other reviews, the monitor can wobble if it is not placed on a secure base but since it is sitting on a firm desktop for me, this is not an issue.Having to install software to be able to control the monitor's settings feels a bit dated to me, since all of my monitors over the last decade have had on-board controls but at least the settings can be accessed from the monitor's control knob once the software is on your PC.

Solid monitor, recommended
I use two monitors, and when one was dropped moving.... went back for another exactly the same model. Recommended for the price.

Worthy upgrade for me
I bought this monitor to replace my HP monitor which was about 15 years old. The fact that that monitor still worked spoke volumes about its quality but the time had come for an upgrade so i plumed for this. Basically whats good about this monitor is that as well as tilting it is height adjustable. In addition the resolution has greater depth and is richer. If you are an RPG gamer like me this is a monitor i recommend for you. Because of its deep colours its also good for admin work as the text and images are quite striking. As i am not into shooters on PC i cant comment on the refresh rate for this monitor personally but a friend who helped me choose it said he would not recommend for people into first person shooters. What became clear was right of the box little if any changes needed to be made to the settings. Overall for the money I recommend this monitor to anyone not just RPG gamers.

Beautifully designed screen, high quality panel - absolutely appalling controls!
The design of this monitor is brilliant - the panel itself and the bezels (or lack thereof!) are all very high quality, and it looks beautiful. It slides up and down very well on the stand, feeling balanced and not jerky, and I enjoyed the way the rotating base was circular instead of the standard rectangle shape. The cable management slot was helpful, and the base itself looked like a much higher quality metal than the plastic it was actually made of.However, for a 27" screen, I think the 2k resolution is now too low, and it seemed like wasted screen real estate for the size due to the resolution not being higher. The quality of the panel seemed lower because at this resolution and at this size, the pixels are definitely visible if you look for them. Also, the controls on the back are absolutely appalling! Having to reach across the desk and fumble about behind the screen to change the brightness and turn the blue light filter on or off (a great feature, incidentally), using a little "joystick" sort of button, was just far too irritating. I have a Mac, and there are no Mac drivers to allow you to control the brightness and colour temperature through software. I wanted to adjust these things maybe 3 times per day to reflect the ambient light levels in the room and to use at night, and doing this through the terrible physical controls was a horrible experience. This was ultimately far too annoying to deal with, so I sent this monitor back, and went for a different QHD (2560 x 1440) screen instead.I'm impressed with AOC on the whole though, and I'll keep an eye on them in future when next in the market for a monitor (provided their usability issues improve!)
