Small and efficient!
Great camera, easy to use functions and clear images. When delivered and opened, I found the AA batteries inside were corroded but the seller wouldn't have known this as the box was sealed. Easy enough to source more so no biggy.

The best camera for a starter.
This camera, at half price, is absolutely amazing. It's the perfect starter camera for vlogging or amateur photography on a tight budget. It has easy auto mode which chooses which style of photo should be taken. The lens has great focus capabilities (containing auto focus as well), the zoom is incredible, and unlike most other SLR's it remains the same quality photo as if it hadn't even been zoomed in at at all. Another great factor is how lightweight it is. It doesn't strain the wrist if you're capturing something on video that requires an extensive period of time. The only wish I have for this camera is that it could do a time lapse, however for around £90 you can't expect much more than the minimum of a camera, and it's still a fantastic camera for the price. (I am not a good photographer). The picture of the car was taken at full zoom. As you can see from the picture of the phone taking a time lapse, the quality is great right down to the smallest detail.

Great
Item delivered within the specified slot which was a good start and that just kept getting better. The build quality of the camera is great, it kind of gives you an old school camera feel with the flick up flash but then delivers modern perfection with its amazing picture qualities and features. We've had a lot of fun with this camera, it's helped us capture a bucket load of memories and ones that we feel proud to share with others. This is certainly another piece of perfection from Nikon and they continue to deliver great pieces of equipment time and time again. If you're looking for a great camera that isn't going to break the bank but will still give you that professional feel then this is the camera for you.

A great lens and sensor ruined by a hopeless autofocus system
This camera takes amazing pictures under certain conditions. If you are taking pictures in strong light, the subject is absolutely stationary and you wait 4-5 seconds for the autofocus to lock-on, then you will end up with the most amazing, crisp, colourful and vibrant photos. If however you are trying to take pictures in a hurry or of moving subjects (e.g. cars, aeroplanes, animals, sport) or you are in motion then the picture will more often than not be out of focus. It seems that Nikon has managed to ruin a great lens and sensor with an utterly hopeless autofocus system. It appears to be at its worst when trying to focus on distant subjects. I have taken around 2,000 pictures with this camera in the 6 months since I bought it and have gone through all the menu settings trying to get it to perform consistently but I have failed. Much of the time now I choose to use my 5 year old Nikon Coolpix S3100 instead. The pictures it takes are nearly as good as the L330, it has a rechargeable battery that charges whilst the pictures are being downloaded via USB connection and it fits in my pocket! If Nikon could provide a menu option by firmware patch to lock the focus manually to infinity and turn off some of the needlessly diverse options, then I would give the L330 a six-star rating!

Good value family camera; excellent zoom and focus; sturdy.
I use this for tourist snaps and family photos. I also film the occasional kids' concert. It is excellent! The clarity of focus, even from distance, is very impressive. For example, I can take a photograph with the zoom, and even on the back screen of the camera, I can see it more clearly than I can see the object with the naked eye. It is very simple to use though I have used only a fraction of its features. It also goes fairly easy on the batteries (to my surprise). I bought this after having dropped its predecessor. I picked this one because the lens does not retract but remains out at all times. I thought this would be sturdier and it probably is. It needa a slightly larger camera case than your usual pocket coolpix but I don't find that a problem.

I'm a complete novice at photography but find this item a huge upgrade from a pocket camera at really reasonable cost
I needed a new camera for my Thailand holiday, but wanted something more than the previous pocket camera. I spent some time reading the reviews and opted for the L330. The photos are very good and it is always handy to be able to zoom in on faraway, or to bring close even closer and hadn't realised how handy this is until I had the option, as the zoom lens is really powerful. The automatic low light function is great to take photos without needing to use a flash in most instances. The only problem I found was when at a Thai boxing match in a well lit arena the action pictures came out blurred, although I haven't found this problem in daylight so far. Overall I am completely happy that I bought this camera. Of course you can get a much better camera if you want, but not for this price!

I bought this camera almost a year ago, and so far, have not done much with it other than some test shots. Prior to buying, one reviewer said she could get 960 shots before changing batteries, and while some people don't like the fact that it uses AA batteries, that was actually a factor that caused me to get this camera. Who wants a specific re-chargeable battery pack that might be discontinued at some point? Not me. Just change out 4 AA batteries and toss the old ones in nearest trash can. I have not noticed any delay in auto-focus. I still have original batteries in camera, as I have not used it much, the internal clock keeps pretty good time. It came with a usb cord to attach to computer, which is still in the box, but I removed the memory card, put into my little Kodak, and attached to computer, no problems up-loading photos, which were sharp enough to cut your eyes! I took some shots in small room at night with only a small lamp on, without flash, and then repeated the shot with flash, and there was very little to no difference, both were sharp. I was amazed at the lighting and sharpness with no flash, indoors at night. I have taken some very sharp outdoor shots from patio, with no flash in bright daylight, which came out fantastic. Prior to this camera, I had 2 little Kodaks, which still work great, one of which is a 7.1 megapixel, which I have had shots made into 24 x 36 posters, and came out beautifully. Some of the reviewers on here probably got defective duds, hence the reviews they left, but I definitely think this is worth the money. If you think the camera strap will break, keep a tighter grip on the camera! Several reviewers mentioned blurry shots with zoom, but another reviewer was dead-on when he said you have to use a tripod or brace against tree or rail. A free hand using zoom will give you a blurry shot with most any camera! I have not noticed that the batteries drain quickly, my 2 Kodaks that only use 2 AA batteries each have decent battery life with average Duracell or Energizer. I have not used my camera on a moving subject, so I will defer to reviewers who say this model is not the best for action or sports, but for any type of stills, indoor, outdoor, various lighting conditions, you can't go wrong with this one. Right after my first review, I played around with the zoom outdoors, and I did indeed see what other reviewers meant about the auto focus taking a few seconds. However, you need a tripod or other way to steady the camera for zoom, otherwise your shots will blur every time. 5 seconds to wait for auto focus is not going to kill me. This is probably not best camera for sports or fast action, but if you don't need it for that, then this one is great.
