Went back and forth on whether or not this was necessary to our travel system (CYBEX Balios S Lux) in addition to the infant car seat but it has been frequently used in our household. Added peace of mind to know baby was in a āsleep safeā environment for long walks, dining out, or visiting friends. Also nice to pop the bassinet out of the stroller base and have a small bassinet you can set inside on the floor if needed. The only con to me is the canopy shade, it seems like it should extend more to really block out the sun.
