These roller blinds are available in a load of deep & vibrant colours. I opted for a mix of aubergine and black to go with the turquoise painted wall in one room.I suffer with the summer heat, especially when the sunlight is hitting directly into my home. The thermal layer woven into these blinds helps to significantly reduce the temperature of the room. Please don’t expect air conditioner miracles, but you will definitely find more comfort from the heat with these blinds fully covering your (e.g lounge, dining room, bedroom, kitchen) windows.The blackout layer provides excellent shading and is particularly useful during the sunny, summer months when you’re enjoying a Sunday morning lie in. I’ve taken a blinds up and blinds down picture around midday (I’m June) to show the difference.The installation requires some patience but is easy enough if you’re familiar with lining up brackets and drilling holes etc. The brackets can be side or top mounted into the wall with the raw plugs and screws provided.The pulley mechanism is smooth and uses white coloured plastic beads - I have opted for and ordered some gun metal beads to replace these (simply un-clip and snap in the new set) as they provide a heavier, sturdier feel and also look much better in my opinion.The supplier offers a range of sizes to suite your requirements. Just be sure to allow additional space for mounting the two brackets which clip into each side of the roller blind - so if your actual, blind coverage area is 80cm, you will need a few extra cm’s of wall space on each side of that to be able to mount the brackets. They more than adequately provide the thermal and blackout features which i was after and work out a lot cheaper than using the services of a professional installation.

I was attracted by the choice of colours, and the blind is of reasonable quality, the fabric appears to be a single sheet of plastic, material painted on both sides, it will be interesting to see how effective it’s insulating properties turn out to be. The product looses a star for the very poor instructions that lack detail in areas that matter such as bracket mounting and where the blind lock fits!

Great blinds nicely priced and easy to put up

We need this blind otherwise I would have returned however both holding pieces for the wall was damaged. One broken and one dented. Disappointed to see broken and faulty pieces.

For the price, really good value.
