This case is build great. Easy hard drive install. Setting up mode is super easy. Good speeds. Works Excellent! Couldn't ask for a better hard drive enclosure!

No issue wit Raid 1

I can only assume the previous reviewers are the type if people that buy something and are happy if it works. Does this "work?" Yes. But it does not work well. It does not transfer anywhere close to as it should, and I have to say this is garbage tier hardware. I was planning on installing my Steam library on 2x4 samsung 4tb SSDs, but it cant even seem to make it through one game install without clapping out and needing to be unplugged and plugged back in. The sustained data transfer is such that the device really isn't an upgrade from my existing WD Red 14tb in an external case

Could not get the RAID dip switches to work. I tried several iterations of flipping the dip switches and the only one that worked consistently was "Normal" - and even then, my MacBook Pro M1 had trouble formatting the 2nd drive. It was only when I used a separate adapter to attach each SSD and format it, then put it back in the enclosure that I was able to get both drives to mount. Not going to take any chances with this level of instability on my data.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Great enclosure with excellent build quality and a sleek design. Once it’s working, it performs flawlessly. The only downside is the included USB-to-DC power cable. I spent two days troubleshooting disconnects and drive detection issues before discovering the cable wasn’t supplying reliable power. Replacing it with a dedicated 5V 3A DC charger plug fixed everything instantly. If you’re having random freezes, disconnects or your drive isn’t being detected, try replacing the included power cable before giving up on the enclosure. Other than that, it’s a great product.

Bought the 10Gb/s version (K25272C) to go with the Mac Mini M4. Getting practically the same speed as connecting the SSDs via internal SATA (500+ MB/s) on a PC. (Obviously you can't get more speed than what SATA is rated for.) Have been using it for a few days without turning it off and did not encounter any random disconnect. No issue with thermal as well. (I believe 2.5" SSDs don't really get hot to start with).

Solid case. Great value. Easy Drop in drives, secure with long screws. Slide into case. Secure with short screws. Set raid type. Press reset button.

The connection keeps dropping, and the drive disappears while transferring important data. (It reappears after a short while, but the files are already corrupted.) A highly reproducible problem is the connection dropping when copying files between two disks in normal mode. The product development department will need to improve the product based on this phenomenon.

This unit works well in my QNAP NAS. My NAS was giving write errors on the cheap NVMe disks so I replaced them with newer ones and use these as a backup in this enclosure. So Far, so good.

Quality could be better. Most external 2.5” hard-disks have fix usb ports no SATA … could not host many standard sizes. Mainly height quickly became problem despite should have fit soec wise. Unstable.
