I have a splint similar to this. This one is long enough to actually hold my first knuckle steady. That knuckle right at the base of your finger it’s actually in your hand needs to maintain non-mobility. And this corrects for that especially if you wear it on the outside (not palm side). The other splint that I have is too short. Plus I love having it more flesh toned so it is less obvious. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my fingers tend to drift and this will hold my finger steady and in place. It’s very comfortable. It’s very lightweight. But the fabric is thick enough to be sturdy and offer support. The design is better than my last ones because the Velcro only has one flap to wrap around your hand instead of trying to get two flaps meeting. I have very limited mobility without feeling constricted. The Fabric is thick enough to offer support and the splint itself is long enough to fully cover the areas that need support. The price is very reasonable, considering that this is the best design that I found for this purpose. Overall, this design is wonderful!

This works wonders when I have joint pain in my knuckle. Just know... TSA will make you remove this brace to be sure you aren't hiding anything in there 😆

It seems to be a well made product at a good price and was shipped quickly. However the one I ordered was too slightly too small so waws a bit hard to put on and was difficult to keep in place.

The size of this product is NOT one size fit all. What I received was small, pediatric size. Splint didn’t even make it up to my knuckle. ***Buyer beware***

Comfortable and keeps my finger straight.

I tried this and the type of brace that could be used on any hand and this was far more sturdy and far more comfortable. It felt more natural to wear and I was able to keep working (as in typing on a computer keyboard) without too much frustration. I was able to wear it for the full 8 weeks until I could use the finger again. It is easily washed with foaming soap in tap water when needed. The velcro did start to curl on the end of the strip in the most used (bent) part of my hand. But that was after weeks of use and even with that issue it was still the better brace to wear and worth the cost of buying the brace specifically made for the affected hand/finger.

I believe for the price it accomplishes a task to isolate your index and keep it rigid. I never felt the strap sat properly around the knuckles and slipped out of position constantly. I also noticed within a week of use the elasticity of the material used warped and stretched more than I’ve encountered in other braces. Overall I would consider the time to heal and if you need to keep it immobile for a week this is a perfect fit. Longer I would find something more robust and better material. After I’m finished it will be discarded due to its stretch and pitting in the fabric from the Velcro.

This is wonderful. Well designed- soft, minimal and stabilizing. Immediate relief.

The brace is very good and stays in place well. The area where it crosses over the thumb to index finger webbing, depending on the size of your hands, can cause irritation to the thumb, as is my case. But overall, working well for my sprain.

The product is okay, but it does not keep on my hand/finger. I wish it could attach to the wrist instead of the middle of the hand. With movement it gets loose.

When first opening the package, it did look confusing as to how I was going to assemble it. But then I looked it up on my Amazon account, and realized the instructions are there. The first step instructs you to lay your finger on top of the wrap but the wrap is actually placed on the wrong side in the pic. Once I realized that it was easy to assemble, and now it looks like the other pictures that show the hand wearing the splint. So far so good! The gel sleeves were a little tight so I'm not using those at this time.
