Are those old bits worn out?
Yeah buddy! Dewalt all the way in my book! This is a nice set for the average job. It's compact enough to throw in your tool bag and get the job done. These are Dewalt quality bits so you can have piece of mind (play on words intentional). I always like having extra bits just in case (play on words intentional). But seriously, I'm a dewalt guy, my shop is covered with yellow tools. Whether you're commercial or residential or both ~ I recommend them! Git to drilling!

Working on metal and wood all my life and these are the BEST drill bits I ever used, I am referring to the gold and black.

Nice set of drill bits!
Had a similar case with driver bits and liked it! This one has a nice variety and seems like it will be a good kit. Havent used them yet but dont have too many concerns being it is DeWalt. Price was right as well.

The larger bits are great
Down to an eighth inch, these are great, below that, they simply do not last, just like any other set. Find tiny replacement bits that are cheap, don't buy another set thinking the small ones will last. Again, eighth inch and up, these are fantastic and better than anything I have had.

Macht loch, wens sein muss auch 2.
Die ersten paar löchen liessen sich gut bohren, macht alles einen guten soliden eindruck, wie manns halt gewohnt ist von Dewalt. Haltbarkeit wird sich zeigen. Hab mir unter den Zoll grössen noch die MM angaben mit wasserfesten stift notiert.
