This was great, bought it to do with our 6 and 9 year old. They both really enjoyed it and my 6 year old could help with a lot of the puzzles. I would definitely buy another one

Overall, this was a really fun family game. The box suggests that you can play with up to six people, and although you can play with more, it does make it a little bit difficult. So I suggest that six is the ideal top limit. In terms of instructions these are fairly easy to follow. But they do include lots of qr codes, which can be a little bit fiddly, particularly for older players. So I just recommend that if you do have different ages, just one person takes care of looking after the instructions. I really like the fact that a soundtrack of the music and a video to set the scene. Were included along with of course instructions on how to reset the game to replay it. For me, the online invitations were something of a gimmick, and I probably wouldn't bother with them. But for younger children, they're a nice little addition. in terms of the actual puzzles and playing the game most of them were pretty straightforward to do, and they're included 18 challenges. Some of these 18 challenges are actually combined, so there aren't quite 18 in there, but even so, it still all roughly works out in the end. I would say that some of the challenges are easier than others. Challenge 3 for example, was really quite complicated and quite hard to do. And challenge 14 I think, had maybe some wrong spaces, because we were struggling to complete the answer. Having said all that at the price, this really is a great game. And it doesn't allow you to reuse it for probably 3 or maybe even 4 goes. So it really is a bargain. My top tip, though, is probably to have some paper, a pen and maybe a die also available before you start playing and to make sure you do read the instructions as some of the contents can be a bit confusing, so it's much easier with the instructions.

Really enjoyed doing this as a great family activity with an 8 and 11 year old. We found one task early on quite difficult and I was a little worried it would be too tough but once we got through that the rest were just the right level of challenge. It’s beautifully illustrated with lots of fun props and great that it is all made from card and paper. Thoroughly recommend as a fun family activity.

Great family entertainment, kept us busy for the evening with no screens involved! Kids aged 15 and 12 both enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend for a fun games evening.

Excellent! Played this with family, children aged 8 and 10, both really invested in the story and puzzles, and grandparents who were as interested and thoroughly enjoyed the game! Will be trying the other themes.

This game is a sort of escape room style challenge activity (with the modern interpretation including some QR code themed challenges). It's designed to played in a group either with friends or family (as long as they're above the age of 9/10 ideally) - you can play with a maximum group size of 6 players. Everyone starts inside an enchanted castle working collaboratively to rescue a dragon - as the story unfolds you're presented with challenging puzzles (some of these are very difficult and some very easy) and clues that question your logical ability. The concept is simple and perhaps the bad point to the game is once you've played it, you can't really replay it, but at the price point advertised, that's kind of expected and it even has eco-friendly credentials to help justify that end game. Each part of the story is well illustrated and colourful with plenty to keep you entertained whilst keeping you racing against the clock, working and communicating in unison with your team and achieving the end goal of the story. It certainly promotes critical & logical thinking and is certainly fun if you have the right tune of crowd to get really immersed into it. We spent a good 90 mins or so on it as a good dinner party activity.

My 9 year old loved this. The puzzles were slightly challenging but solvable for her and we had an enjoyable time playing it together.

We played this as a family with our youngest being 7. This was fun for all of us. The illustrations are beautiful. I appreciate that the publishers include a link to be able to remake anything that may damaged in play. The quality is great but I did print extra because the items were so cool, my kids wanted some to play with, like the jewel, potions, and key. When we play these, we have a different person lead each puzzle. The difficulty varied with each puzzle so it worked out beautifully for our family dynamic. Our youngest was able to lead a few without help. I recommend this for family fun! It is replayable so we put it away for a couple months and do it again.

Fun puzzles some more challenging than others BUT the real enjoyment is the beautiful art work. I enjoy, after solving the puzzle, just looking at the colorful detailed puzzle piece. There is a REAL joy, anticipation opening each new puzzle piece again to first enjoy the art work! This is my 42nd Escape Room game and it is one of my top Escape Room experience for playability and the ART WORK!

I love escape rooms and escape room games, so I thought I'd give this one a try. I was quite surprised at the quality and artwork, especially since everything fits in just a small envelope. I also loved the variety of games as well. There are a few things that use qr codes (the intro and a music playlist), though I really don't feel like either were needed as you can easily play without them. I did enjoy the extra touch though. I don't want to give too much away, but as far as the play through, I thought the games were a little on the easier side and one of the games with the potions I thought was a little lacking on the labeling. I also thought the hints were totally useless as they mostly just restated what the game was. I also wish that they had a slightly different set up for the solutions, because you can't check the solutions without seeing the entire page. We ended up giving the booklet to someone that wasn't playing and would just ask them if we were right, that way nothing was spoiled for us. Even with with the things I didn't like, we still had a blast playing and I could easily see someone playing this as a group or even solo play. I thought the value was well worth it.

My grand children and I had a lot of fun with this. Beautiful graphics. Story needs a little work, but the puzzles are fun. Ages were 8-12. Some puzzles were fairly easy for them, which was nice for the 8 year old. I made copies, so everybody could solve the puzzle instead of only one person doing it. The kids liked that. I would recommend this.
