– KIWI design H4 Boost Battery Head Strap for Meta Quest 3/3S Made by Meta

I've been using the KIWI Design H4 Boost Battery Halo Head strap for a few weeks now with my Meta Quest headset, and it’s hands down one of the best accessories I’ve purchased.Comfort & Fit:The halo design distributes the weight much more evenly across the head compared to the default strap. It takes all the pressure off the face and makes extended VR sessions far more comfortable. The adjustability is excellent, and it fits snugly without being tight.Battery Life:The built-in battery adds a significant amount of playtime — I’ve easily doubled my usage time on a single charge. It’s great for longer sessions without needing to stop and recharge the headset. Plus, the rear battery actually helps counterbalance the front-heavy headset, which improves the overall feel.Build Quality:The head strap feels very sturdy and well-built. The materials are high quality, and everything from the dial to the connectors gives a premium impression. The USB-C passthrough works flawlessly.Setup:Installation was quick and straightforward. Just followed the included instructions and was up and running in minutes.Final Thoughts:If you're serious about VR and find the default strap uncomfortable or limiting, this upgrade is absolutely worth the investment. If you're new to VR like me, you're probably starting to realise how many extras you're going to need to make the most out of your headset. It also soon becomes clear when reading up about the Quest that the first thing that needs to go is the bundled strap. It really is abysmal.I looked at a lot of options and narrowed it down to this Kiwi H4 and the BoboVR S3, but the Kiwi was on offer for a great price and after digesting lots of reviews I went for this one. It's easy to fit, has plenty of adjustment options and is VASTLY superior to the bundled strap. Super comfortable over long periods and much easier to position for the sharpest visuals that the awful bundled strap.Battery life seems great - between setting up accounts on my headset and playing some games, I was on it for a good 4 hours and it still had plenty of juice left. Charging time if good and if left connected to the main Quest unit it'll charge that too.It's an added expense to an already expensive piece of tech, but absolutely worth it if you want to get the most out of your Quest and enjoy extended laying time.

Most comfortable headset strap I have ever used. Sadly does not allow data pass through the battery pack charging port. Making it awkward for tethered vr sessions.

I’ve done quite a bit of research about better head straps for Quest 3, looked at many options but decided on this Kiwi H4 Boost, and my instincts were right 😀It came very well packaged, ready assembled to fit to your quest 3 headset. Easy to follow and relatively simple instructions for fitting. Very good quality components, feels strong and premium. There are a few ways to get your perfect fit, take the time to experiment and you will find it! Obviously everyone’s head and facial structure varies in size and shape, this head-strap affords several options to achieve optimal fit.This halo head-strap delivers exceptional comfort and extends your quest 3 battery and use time to at least double. Head strap supports charging the head-strap battery simultaneously with the quest 3 internal battery - saving time and very convenient. And believe me, this takes so much pressure off your face, (no dents or red marks left on your face unlike the stock strap!) you WILL want to stay in VR for way longer - the perfect combo of comfort and long play. I am now so happy to be able to walk around the house in mixed reality mode, I even answer the door with it on and certainly don’t care about the odd looks that I get - that’s how great it is; I don’t want to take it off !!

Does exactly what it should, adding at least another two hours of battery life and giving me around four to five hours in total, An absolute must for the Meta Quest 3.

Bought this to extend the play time on my Meta Quest 3 and it doesn’t disappoint. The battery gives well over an extra hour of gameplay, and the head strap sits comfortably without feeling awkward. It was easy to attach and makes longer VR sessions much better.

I sent the first one back with charging issues but the headset is great and it does work with no face cover ideal for working for long hours for air flow. I won’t be looking any further it’s idealEdit. A while later. If you run the headset right down I find the charging keeps stopping. I charge the headset directly for a while then change it back to through the headset. That seems to work.

Thsibis not for tue qiest 3s despite it saying it is. Both arms snapped rendering it useless. Waste of money. Avoid at all cost

Da drückt nichts und nichts wackelt - einfach nur obercooler Tragekomfort ohne Quest-Face danach ;-)Und durch den Akku ist alles gut ausbalanciert und man hat Energie für laaange Sessions.

This seems like a great device with a built in battery as well. However, right from the start, I'm feeling a lot of pressure on the back of the head near the base where it makes contact. Seems like all pressure from face is transferred there.Hopefully there's an adjustment setting else I won't be able to use this and hopefully can return it.The built in battery is nice for 3+ hours claimed but haven't been able to validate. Also, when you put the unit away, it continues to supply power to the MetaQuest3 which consumes battery and I can see the green light is on on the unit.Maybe an on/off manual switch would have helped better.It seems useful and easily puts on and off and has a few adjustment angles but the pressure issue remains. The strap feels nice and the weight does not seem a lot when I hold it so it is good. However, I'm not yet sold on it.Will update review in case I find a solution.Edit - it has been a year later and I figured out the issue. I just adjusted some knobs and such and the pressure is gone from the back of the head and the pressure really is on the strap along the top of the head so you don't feel it. There's little pressure on the face so it is not like zero pressure but you want that for active sports gaming so your headset does not flop about. I've found the dials and stretchy features really help make this product great so after a year of using it I'm raising it to 5 stars. I did find that the charging can be sometimes ignored by it now after a year of like 4-5 times a week use for about 1h/day use? Maybe battery issue? But seems to charge and supply charge to the Meta Quest 3.

The added battery life is welcome and charges to full in a very reasonable time. Passthrough charging to the headset is great. very comfortable.
