LOVE, LOVE IT! Buy it!
I LOVE this Aeroski machine! It really works your body! As a snow skier in my young days, it is very accurate as to the areas your body worked. Only issue is the virtual reality, wish it was more accurate. I wouldn’t return it just for that issue because the workout is well worth it even without the goggles. Buy it! You’ll love it!

Fun workout, evolving machine for small space.
The technology of this gear is fairly simple and ingenious if you look underneath. It looks sturdy and probably fixable in most case of damage, in hope there's no need anytime soon, of course. The length is roughly 2 thirds of the Aeroski, so the movement is not as wide (particularly because the Aeroski is much more arched making the movement range even wider), but this slide stepper range of movement is not ridiculously tiny neither. It's approachable yet it gets quickly challenging. It's fun with the provided resistance band or with dumbbells, trying different postures. The amazon product page shows several other ways to use it with the hands or with one leg at the time. Nice diversity of usages. There's another awesome option. In front of a system that can block my feet and a classical resistance band behind my feet (aerobic deck, door anchor strap on the floor and yoga blocks, fixed or heavy furniture...), I sit astride on this slider from an adjusted distance and am able to mimic a rowing exercise closely enough, thanks to the rails underneath, let's say with a slight wave due to the arch. That's a very appreciable trick in a space where there's no room for the typical rowing machine. Conclusion, this is an good fitness product.

Keep wanting to jump back on.
Well OMG I tried my side stepper. It's a little tricky balancing and getting your rhythm at first. But man depending on the stride you take and the speed you move it's effective. My legs, knees and core are feeling it just for a few minutes. I have found my grove and did like 3 minutes. Then I'll go to 5 minutes. And then I don't know. Lol. It's tougher than I thought. But fun. Now I just have to stick with it.

Awesome!!
I just had back surgery in December & needed something that wouldn’t be too strenuous but would help strengthen my muscles again— this has been a perfect fit. I get a really good workout without overdoing it, it’s fun to use & I really think it helps my balance a lot as well. It’s perfectly quiet to use so I can use it at night… its a bit bulky & it doesn’t fold up or anything, so there’s no “easy” way to really store it out of the way, but as long as you have a place to keep it & use it regularly, I don’t think it’s an issue. It’s the best investment I’ve made for workout equipment.

Stellar Customer Service from this seller!!!
My 50+ year old daughter bought one of these and was delighted to use it, so I went out and bought one, too. Big mistake! This is not safe for a 76 year old who just wants to maintain good health indoors using simple exercise equipment. I could easily take a fall from this if I am not careful and it hurt my arthritic joints after one attempt using it. As the box was damaged upon delivery and recycled, I chose not to return it and will swap this with a friend for a piece of equipment she had that is better suited to me.Very disappointed in this piece about how 'shaky' it is to get on it and how it is not a good idea for seniors to use.UPDATE: Although I was not able to use this exercise equipment, I chose not to send it back because I knew I could give it to a young woman who COULD use it and would be excited to get it. Much to my surprise, the seller contacted me shortly after posting my review and refunded my purchase price. I was stunned as this is the first time that has ever happened. I was so impressed with the care and kindness of the seller who was more concerned about my well being and happiness over my purchase than his own bottom line. Amazing!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this seller and his equipment and the SUPERIOR customer service offered. By the way, my 50ish daughter who originally bought this equipment still uses it and LOVES it! That makes us two happy customers. GREAT SELLER for sure!!

Disappointed
I was so excited for this. It was easy to assemble, it is a space saver which is nice I hate bulky things however I am in the right weight limit for this product and I used it a couple times and a piece broke off the bottom mid glide it was so scary, now it makes a grinding noise and leaves black shavings on the floor. I tried reaching out to the company about it. Sent photos etc. finally I contacted Amazon after not getting anywhere to get my refund.

Not a great workout
It has a very small range of motion. If it were a larger unit maybe it would do something but as is it's not beneficial.
