Great scanner and programming tool. If you have a ford and are wanting to run ForScan this is the tool you need! I have tried others that will work ok but this is the one you need if you want full access to all the features.

Simple to use with forscan

Good for general use OBDII but not for FORScan. Cannot run programs. Otherwise great

Forscan will alert you that this unit isn't "poweful" enough. Disregard as the unit works fine.

The website listed for the driver is not accessible and the support website does not list any obdII devices on their site. Took quite a while to find a driver to allow this adapter to work. The description says it works with all F150’s I have a 2026 lariat and when connected using foracan it says this adapter is not recommended for this vehicle and some features may not work. I was adding the trailer brake control module and was able to get it to work but this was a nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend it for F150’s.

Acquistato a seguito di malfunzionamenti e anomalie sulla mia Ford Kuga e arrivato velocemente, con consegna in una domenica estiva. Confezione essenziale: il dispositivo è in una busta trasparente con un piccolo depliant in cartone che ne spiega l'utilizzo. Dovendolo collegare a un pc portatile si è reso necessario scaricare un driver per farlo riconoscere sulla porta USB. Bisogna poi scaricare il software Forscan, disponibile in versione gratuita o a pagamento, in quest'ultimo caso sono presenti ulteriori funzioni. L'uso dell'adattatore mi ha permesso di diagnosticare varie anomalie riconducibili a un problema classico per le Ford: un guasto (U1900) al connettore del bus sul quadro strumenti. Dopo una diagnostica (a pagamento) senza soluzione in officina se non un'ipotetica sessione di verifiche, mi è bastato smontare il quadro strumenti ed effettuare delle saldature seguendo un tutorial video su Youtube. Problema risolto brillantemente spendendo pochissimo. Consigliato per chi ha un minimo di manualità.

I spent three hours on the internet to make the cable work. It is not a plug and play nor the provided disc can work. The provided disc was outdated.

Website obd2.cc for SW download is a redirect and sets Windows security alerts off. Not sure if it's trustworthy hence unable to use without software.
