Great purchase
Love my new kindle. Had my previous one for over ten years and only changed as it was no longer supported. Decided to buy this one for the features and am incredibly happy with my purchase. Super fast and easy to use and set up. Love light it is and love the bigger screen size. Touch screen can be a little slow at first but is fine after a minute. Screen is super bright and clear, and is bright enough I can read at night without a light on. Love that is has dark mode too so it isn't harsh on my eyes. Would highly recommend spending the money for this version

Worth Every Penny – My Best Tech Purchase This Year
I absolutely love my Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. I used to think I preferred physical books, but after using this Kindle, my reading time has increased significantly. The screen is incredibly easy on the eyes, even during long reading sessions, and the adjustable warm light makes reading at night very comfortable. The battery life is outstanding. I hardly ever have to think about charging it. The device is lightweight, responsive, and comfortable to hold with one hand for extended periods. The waterproof design is an added bonus and gives extra peace of mind. The Signature Edition features like wireless charging, 32 GB of storage, and automatic brightness adjustment make it feel truly premium. The display is sharp, page turns are fast, and the overall reading experience is simply excellent. If you’re on the fence about buying a Kindle, I’d say go for it. It has completely changed the way I read, and I only wish I had bought one sooner. Highly recommended!

Great to use!
My very 1st Kindle, and I'm super happy with it. It small enough to take anywhere, bus, car, wherever you want to use it, touch sensitivity is great being able to go forward & back with ease, especially the double-tap on the back to turn a page, it's easy to use, no messing about, connected to my WIFI with ease, and hasn't had any issues, and the readability of it is excellent, you can make the text different sizes if needed.. Can't say much for the reliability, it just works right up until it doesn't I guess, battery life is amazing for my use.

A great upgrade from my old Paperwhite.
After my trusted 6th Gen Paperwhite finally started slowing down I opted to trade it in and upgrade to a Paperwhite Signature and so far I’m really impressed with the model. It comes with a usb cord but nothing else. This is all you need to get going and use it, but it doesn’t come with any wireless charging options as the dock is sold separately (though I have found the older model dock still works with this version and it a much cheaper option to buy). The overall look is really sleek and attractive. There’s no real difference to that compared to the older models and the screen increase in size is so slight it’s not really noticeable. The screen is larger than some of e-readers (including the basic kindle) but I prefer this slightly larger size screen as I find it easy to read. The device is a good size for me too and I can still hold it and turn the page with one hand. It’s still smaller than the majority of paperback books , and way lighter! It’s actually very light in weight and doesn’t make my arms ache in bed at all. You can hardly feel it in your hand when it doesn’t have a case on and I don’t think I can really feel the weight difference in this and the basic kindle. The screen is super clear and crisp and I can easily read it. The page turning is quick and I’ve found there’s little to no lag. The main store and Home Screen is also quick and easy to navigate. The main reason I opted for the signature over the normal paperwhite was the automatic brightness adjustment and I’m really happy with that choice. The screen adjusts quickly in changing lights and subtly enough that it’s not even really noticeable as you read. It’s great when I’m reading in the car as I don’t have to keep adjusting it myself when the sun goes in and out etc. when it’s bright in the room no brightness is needed on the device at all and as it gets darker I’ve found I only really need the brightness up to 10 at most (but mainly keep it at 8). The fact it goes up to 24 it great but that does run your battery out a lot more quickly, and I honestly don’t need it that bright at all. The warmth adjustment is nice too and gives you the option to have it cooler or warmer in colour. This isn’t automatic, but I generally don’t change it once I have it set up. It does come with 32gb of storage as well so I don’t have to worry about removing each book after reading it as I have plenty of room for them all. So far I haven’t had it long enough to really test the battery but it seems to hold it really well and though I read a lot more than the 30 minutes a day I can tell this charge will still last weeks. Overall it’s obviously a huge improvement from my old 6th gen paperwhite, and I’m glad I opted for the signature for the auto adjusting back light and the option to wireless charge. I’d definitely recommend it as an upgrade to older models!

Third Time Lucky
This has been an interesting experience for me. I’ve been using my trusty Kindle Oasis for years now and was not inclined to change, however I was aware that the Oasis would be obsolete in a few years and I knew there were better reading experiences out there. After trying my boyfriends Paperwhite, I decided to buy the Paperwhite Signature Edition and take the plunge. Immediately when it arrived I knew something was wrong, I’d read others reviews and hoped that I’d be spared any defaults. However, the bottom left of the screen had an awful yellow band that was most prominent in the corner but covered the whole bottom of the screen. After speaking to Amazon, I managed to get a replacement. The second kindle arrived and I thought it must be right, I was wrong. The second one was yellow all over (better than the blotches of it on the other one) but with specks of black on the screen too that it made it awful to read off. Comparing it to my partners normal Paperwhite, both kindles were far inferior. I complained again and managed to get a SECOND replacement. It arrived and lo and behold it was perfect! So I’m knocking off a star for the inconsistency of the quality of these kindles, but ultimately it is such a premium reading experience when you get a good one. The colour is crisp and white, it’s light and easy to hold and comfortable for long periods of time. It’s speed and having the ability to double tap the back to change pages are stand out features for me. I also enjoy being able to set the book I’m reading as my screensaver. It’s easy to navigate and use, extremely portable and feels sturdy. If you are able to take the gamble and see what kind of screen you get, it’s definitely worth it in the end. I’m extremely happy with my kindle and the customer service has been excellent to be fair. I also managed to purchase on Prime Day so I got a really good deal for this model.

Highly recommend it
I absolutely love my Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, it’s completely changed my reading habits. I find myself picking it up far more often than I ever did with physical books. Used to read occasionally but now I average a book every couple of weeks. For a busy person that’s pretty good I think and it’s all down to my kindle. It’s lightweight and really comfortable to hold, even for longer reading sessions, which makes a big difference. The screen is easy on the eyes and feels much more like reading a book than I expected. One of the standout features for me is the battery life. It lasts for weeks, sometimes even months, on a single charge, which is incredibly convenient. I rarely feel like I have to think about charging it. There’s also loads of storage, so I can download plenty of books without worrying about running out of space. Only downside is I wish it came in the matcha colour, but it does look really sleek. It’s a way to use and has nifty things like the double tap at the back to turn a page. I am easily pleased! It’s also great to take on my travels. No more deciding which book(s) to take with me. Just chuck the kindle in my bag and go. Overall, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. If you’re trying to get back into reading or want something more convenient than physical books, I’d highly recommend it.

Updated to review replacement- Thankfully I love mine now because the issues resolved !
Update: So after having this kindle for a week, I just couldn’t get on with it. Something wasn’t right with it. It did still have minor ghosting but the text seemed unclear. It was a strain. I called Amazon who offered replacement because I couldn’t accept refund due to a discount code I used and wouldn’t get back! Replacement came and I was stunned at how much worse it was compared to mine. I have attached photos where you can clearly see the same brightness settings but the replacement has a yellow screen without the warmth on!! 3rd try, phoned amazon again who didn’t really understand what I was talking about but sent me another replacement. This 3rd kindle made everything fall into place. It was white. I hadn’t realised that my original was grey. Text was crisper and ghosting not a thing. It’s pretty much perfect. It disappoints me that Amazon haven’t got this right. They did not push out a consistent product and should have recalled them. I will also warn you that Amazon will send you a replacement but it will be REFURBISHED as this is part of their warranty agreement. This to me is a bit of a joke given that I bought brand new and am keeping a second hand one. I have agreed to this because it’s better than my original and I know it can’t be older than October but I think it’s shoddy. It really is pot luck on the quality of what kindle you receive. I have left the 5 stars because I love my new (refurbished) kindle. But Amazon as a company get 2 stars now. 3rd photo is my original with 1st replacement 4th photo original(top) 1st replacement then last replacement which I kept. Original review:Received this for Xmas (which I arranged)! Got it for a great price, Black Friday PLUS traded in my old paper white 5th gen so got an extra 20% off. I went for the SE version for the auto light adjust. I really wanted the colorsoft but have been closely monitoring the reviews and I just wasn’t prepared to risk it. I had also been closely monitoring the reviews of this kindle too. The main faults being a yellow hue, dead pixels or ghosting. I will say that researching is good but in my case I over did it and so… When I opened this on Xmas morning the very first thing I did was QC myself, probably better than what Amazon have been doing! I was looking for the faults and to my despair it had bad ghosting. I was so disappointed. I could clearly see the book covers in the background of the next page. I did call Amazon and their robot told me they wouldn’t replace as they’re out of stock but I had time to request for exchange so I left it. There was a software update but I had to do this manually which is very easy to do, as it wasn’t showing on my kindle yet. I had also researched ghosting and apparently this is normal for any eink display (within reason) I just didn’t remember my old one doing this. For whatever reason my kindle is FINE now. The ghosting seems to have settled. This might be because it’s been sitting in its box a long time and now it’s being used it’s ok. It could have something to do with the update but I don’t think so. Yes, there is very minor ghosting now but I really have to look for it otherwise I wouldn’t notice. I wish I had read a review which said “it might be ok after a few hours use” which is why I wanted to leave this here! Bad form from Amazon for all the kindle issues, I assume they wanted it pushed out for Black Friday before Xmas but that’s just not good enough for these expensive devices. Things I love on this kindle are the warm light. Makes such a difference if you’ve never had it. The auto adjust. Love that I can go to bed and it just sorts itself out in the darkness. Dark mode is cool. The colour (jade) beautiful. Page turn animations are fancy and it is super speedy. I can actually search for a book in the store without waiting a whole minute for each letter to catch up! My only con is their current reputation! Hope this helps some people because I really love mine now. I have included some photos of the ghosting I was seeing but this has resolved!

Fantastic e-reader
I have had a Kindle device since 2012. My first was the basic Kindle, followed in 2021 with a Kindle Paperwhite and this was a brilliant update to the original, being able to control the backlight and sent colour temperature on the screen. When this device developed a glitch reporting an error each time it was turned on, it was not a difficult decision to replace it with another Paperwhite. This time I updated to the Signature Edition and this has been fantastic with all the features of my original Paperwhite and some additional. I particularly like to auto brightness adjustment and the page turn ability by tapping on the back of the device. I love the Raspberry colour on the back and this make me feel cheerful whenever I start a reading session. Battery life has been brilliant even with my long reading sessions and the weight, and screen size are just perfect. Would recommend this to anyone, even if you have a standard Paperswhite device. Since purchasing, I have managed to resolve the glitch on my original Paperwhite by running the disk utility on my Mac, so I now have a device I use upstairs when I read before going to sleep and one I can read downstairs for my main reading sessions

You will read more, reading will be practical and easy.
Just buy it. Paperwhite SE last edition is best kindle out there. I read almost 2000 pages in 2 weeks, I use it to learn German by reading 1500 pages of stories written in simpler progressive German with included tap dictionary and translation wikipedia built-in is nice, just one tap on word, I read Alan Poe, Shakespeare, Nietzsche, Plato... I did not read a non-technical book in 15 years. My brain loves it. I replaced movie screen before sleep with Kindle and I get to sleep little sooner and have better sleep quality. I would recommend Paperwhite SE over Colorsoft, in all videos Colorsoft have massive blur when compared to Paperwhite, on Paperwhite SE text is crisp. I would recommend it even over basic because of size, Paperwhite SE is perfect for pocket while not being too small and has great dark mode and night orange light.

The Perfect E-Reader for Book Lovers
I absolutely love my Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 32GB. It has been one of my best purchases and has completely changed the way I read. The size is perfect for reading comfortably at home or on the go, and with 32GB of storage, I haven't even come close to running out of space for my books. I also love the display options, especially the ability to switch between light and dark mode and adjust the brightness and contrast to suit different lighting conditions. The Kindle is incredibly easy to use. I frequently adjust the font size and style depending on what I'm reading, and navigating through the settings and library is simple and intuitive. The customizable reading experience makes it easy to read for long periods without eye strain. If you're an avid reader looking for a reliable, user-friendly e-reader, I highly recommend the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. It's packed with useful features, offers plenty of storage, and provides a fantastic reading experience. Pros: Excellent storage capacity, customizable fonts and display settings, light and dark mode, easy to use, perfect size for reading Cons: None so far Overall, this has been a fantastic purchase, and I would buy it again without hesitation.
