So far so good.
Prior to purchasing this, I tried a PCI-e Wifi Card, m.2 wireless card, both did not work for me???? I tried the included drivers and ones downloaded via the internet. They both were not recognized like stated, I had to return both. I made sure they were compatible with an Intel Motherboard, they were. Did not work. I plugged this in and windows recognized it immediately, I clicked the network icon and saw my network, BINGO! Should have purchased this first. Great connection, no issues at all! Remember if your PC is far away from your router/modem, you may possibly get low bars/low connection. If that is the case, you can buy a usb extension cable and hang it or place it closer. They run a few bucks but make sure to measure how far in length you will need. I purchased a 4ft usb extension cable and stretched it very close to my modem. For my situation I may have not even needed to do that but I wanted to make sure it was a stable connection. Plugged in Internet Speed - 363 mbps Average Phone Wireless Speed - 65 mbps Average This USB Wifi Speed - 138 mbps Average I tested these more than once, to compare. For what I am going to use this backup computer for, I do not mind the USB Wifi speeds being lower than the plugged in speeds. Could possibly be a setting in my modem/router to speed that up, I am not sure. I will research that in the future. * Update * For whatever reason my Motherboard Bios had the excess PCI-e slots/m.2 slots turned off. As a person who has built and worked on many computers, I find it hilarious that I did not check the BIOS! Lol. Anyway, hope this update helps someone. Some times the easiest fix, is the hardest. I have no idea how I did not check the BIOS. I am still using this usb item, works great!

EXCELLENT Adapter
Just purchased it and it works really great. The best ever. The adapter picked up my Wi-Fi with no trouble at all. Just plug it into your USB, wait for a little bit and you'll see your Wi-Fi. Type in your password and that's it. Very stable so far and compatible with my Dell Desktop Optiplex computer. No lag yet. Range is good as I live in an apartment. Worth buying a backup.

Excellent quality, plug and Play
I had put a computer together, a Dell that I got off eBay and the xr3060 and a bunch of other components. I had never put a computer together before but this was the last piece that I needed. It didn't come with the internet built in so I had to add this but it was plug and Play. It worked smoothly. I literally put it in and it popped up and I had internet. I didn't think it would be that easy. Definitely recommend this

Got this for a hand me down gaming pc with no wifi card
I bought this product because of a hand me down gaming pc my uncle gave me for Christmas, When I started it up it had no wifi card and at the time I had no way of reaching my router from where my room is. I looked a little bit on amazon for wifi adapters and picked the budget option with the most positive reviews, I've used it for about a week and the connect is really not that bad for the price. The connection is decently stable and the most trouble I have with it is the wifi signal cutting out for at least a couple of seconds once every day or two while playing games, which I'm not that mad about for the price since it doesn't really interrupt my gaming. But for the price you really can't complain about how good it is.

Great Customer Support!
This particular item did not work for my computer. The customer service agent (Lynn) was kind and patient and gave easy to understand instructions. We finally realized I needed a different model and it is on its way to me at no charge. Amazing service! Highly recommend!

Only worked for a couple of hours
I have Windows 11 on a high end gaming PC. I plugged in the adapter and my computer recognized it and it worked great for about 2 hours, then disconnected from WiFi and now when I unplug and plug it back in to my computer to try to reset it, my computer doesnโt even recognize anything plugged in. Itโs not the USB port being faulty since I checked and other things worked when plugged in. I contacted the seller directly through the website via chat and was told a more stable version of the adapter the AX1800 would be sent to me as a free replacement. I ended up purchasing a WiFi adapter from a different manufacturer. I will update if the replacement adapter ever arrives and will update on its performance.

Great value and better support.
I had trouble with setup. John in support was great. He's very knowledgeable. He even did a whatsapp call and we solved my install problem. Speeds are now 3 times as before. Great unit and a bargain. I'm using a 5 year old Acer all-im-one pc, and I usually only got 40mbps, and I am supposed to get up to 1200 from Comcast. My phone right next to the pc gets 600. With this little unit that plugs into the usb port, I get upwards of 180mbps. That's fast enough for my needs.
