Very solid headset, probably the best at its price for all uses!
Overall, I really like this product and think it's the most usable multifunction headset. Build: The build quality is solid. The ear cups are plastic, but nothing on the headset feels like it's going to fall off. It feels well made and durable. Solid. The only thing I don't like is the Alienware logo, but that's preference Sound: With the adapter, there's a very light hiss in the background. However, when music is playing or anything like that, it is completely inaudible. It's really only audible when silent. It sounds really good. The base is nice, you can easily tell where footsteps are, and it has a really nice range. I can use it anywhere in my house. The built-in mic is very mediocre, the boom mic is much more usable. Sound canceling is obviously not as good as Sony or Apple airpods, but it is perfectly usable on a plane and gets rid of most of the engine sounds and other such things. I really like that it is very quick to switch from Bluetooth to adapter, you slide the toggle and within 5 seconds it reconnects to the other one. It does not mix the two at the same time, you cannot be listening to your computer and take a Bluetooth phone call, but I knew that when I bought it so it's not a problem. The battery life is amazing as well, I don't think I've heard the low battery sound more than once or twice the entire time I've owned it. I do not plug it in every night, it's not necessary.

Alienwware cooked on this one, sound taste sooo good!
What can I say, probably the best sounding "gaming headset" I have owned ever, I would dock a point for the passable mic quality, while it doesn't suck...it sounds fine for typical game chat and some voice over....just not as clear as it should be considering the price and the sound quality. Capable of high stereo bit rate or just dolby atmos, sound is amazing, clear, clean bass and good sound stage for a closed back headphone. Also includes, noise cancelling and ambient aware sound, like I mentioned, sound is amazingly clear and ive tried them all, even more expensive headsets...just too bad alienware skipped mic day and gave us a semi decent mic quality. Other notable feature is Bluetooth capable, while not at the same time a 2.4ghz, still a nice add for music listening or movies...the looks and build of the headsets are much cleaner and appealing coming from Alienware, so wearing them out won't be too out of place. Build and fitment is great with good clamping force, size is average and my 2 cents might not be great for larger heads. A couple of hours of game time and fitment is great with little ear/head pressure, weight is non issue. Over all, sound is so great I will give it a 5 star, even with a step down mic. Also, you dont really need to install alienware command center, not to really benefit from it other than a couple of settings.

Good , but .....
took some getting use to from wired hyperx cloud II, just as comfortable, the isolation is good enough to not need anc because anc is NOT good, but passthrough is great. I get this weird random speaker pop out of nowhere randomly about twice a day, sometimes deafening... but besides anc and random eardrum eruption, i find the headset great, long battery life, comfortable, elegant design, and good audio after some tweaks in eq, oh and the software is utterly "DOG WATER"

Do not buy - terrible mic and voice functionality
Do not buy these if you want constant clear voice chat capabilities. The mic cuts in and out when speaking, it cuts off the beginning of words and lowers some sentences randomly. Unless you speak very loudly all the time, and even then it’s not great. The noise suppression features are way over tuned and poorly implemented. And you can’t fully disable the feature, or tune it manually. Insanely bad implementation. The audio quality and fit on the other hand are both excellent. Like it’s a really nice headset otherwise. The ANC is merely so-so, but passive noise isolation is pretty good. But without the mic working properly there is no point to buying these. An old Sony XM-4 is a better investment for good audio with great ANC, or any other gaming headset that has a working Mic that doesn’t cut off sentences if you need something for gaming.

Amazing, so very comfortable, great sound, excellent ANC, free Dolby surround license
I was looking for the best wireless gaming headphones with a 2.4 ghz dongle and every review had mainly the same headphones that were best for gaming and almost none that included this headset. I'm sure if you have been shopping you know which one is usually at the top rating for about $310 to $350 and comes with two swappable batteries and a multifunction controller. That is the one I originally got and I have to say that this Alienware headset blows it out of the water in so many categories. Don't get me wrong, the other one is good, but it is about $150 more expensive and focuses on features more than what really matters. I don't know why there are not more reviews for this headset and so many reviews for others that are sub-standard compared to this one. Maybe it is just how much they spend for marketing and influencers. Now with this headset I haven't really used the microphone, but I did notice that the flexible boom stays in place better. What else is better is the sound quality with deeper bass and distinct mids and highs. You do get the Dolby Access license with this headset so I did set the EQ in sort of a smiley face configuration with a little less smile towards the bass area. I play games at about 50% volume and that seems to be plenty. The other thing is this thing is so comfortable and lightweight. Much more so than others I have tried. I can use them for hours with no strain or ear sweat, yet that is strange because they seat really well with super soft ear pads and top band cushions. They block out a lot of sound even without the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on. As for the ANC, it is by far the best in the gaming headsets I have seen and the first ones I bought barely worked (I have 10 year old wireless headphones that have better ANC). The transparency mode is great also and is configurable with the software on a PC. I like that it has a physical switch for on and off and a physical volume wheel with clicks up or down. The controls are also out of the way when taking the headphones on and off. Using this for FPS or third person shooters has been a game changer and it is easy to pinpoint when someone is coming up behind me. I am super happy with this purchase and honestly it is a great value for the price. If the first one I bought was the same price as this one, I would still choose this headset.

Disappointed but in comfort
I have been using the headset for a couple of months. They are extremely comfortable and the sound is normally good. The install of the software is easy to work with. I however often get crackling in the headset that can be consistent or goes away for several days. I also have issues with the microphone cutting out while talking software like discord. This issue becomes more frequent when the battery gets low. The wireless distance you can walk away from the computer before losing connection is also fairly low. In addition, the noise cancelation mode gives me an almost instant headache (not joking or being dramatic, I can hear the waves/sound it uses to cancel the surrounding noise). To update the headset, I must plug the headset in and turn it off. Sadly, when you plug the headset in it stays on, soooooo I have not been able to find a way to have it off and plugged in at the same time. Resources say to push and hold the off button, but I have an off/on switch which I can not hold only put into the off position, which does nothing. I reached out to Dell for help, but they refused to help me solve the issues since I bought it “3rd party” (on Amazon) and requested for me to go to a local store which sold dell products for help…. For the price of the headset, this should not be an issue. Take $120 bucks off the price and I may suggest getting these to others.

Bluetooth issues
The headset is amazing in every way and performs amazing but it lags sometimes for example it doesn’t turn on so you have to just turn it of and on and it’ll work but what’s really bad is the fact that I paid 900 aed (250 dollars roughly) for a wireless headset that doesn’t work with Bluetooth it never shows up when I search for devices I tried on every device I own and also did a firmware update from the alien ware command center and still doesn’t work
