Cuts super slick! I’m sad I didn’t purchase this earlier. I could have saved myself a lot of $$ and frustration with other trimmers. I like how the guide bar (also nice and wide) locks down when not in use. The guide wire is a great feature for cutting on border lines. I also like that it has the 1 1/2” or so on the right of the cutting track. The guidelines for measurement are easy to read. The swing out arm that extends measurement seems a bit flimsy, but so far it’s working great. It says up to 10 papers can be cut, but I haven’t tried multiple yet. I was a little concerned about how it was shipped. It arrived in a cardboard envelope. The cutter was in its own box. The two circle stickers that were supposed to keep the flap closed were both up and the cutter was just in the box, no plastic wrap or bag. It just seemed odd. But, it looks good, it works great and it arrived a day early.

I didn't realize how much sanity can be restored by a clean, straight cute until this thing showed up. It's sturdy, it cuts smooth, and the guide actually lines up where you expect it to - which is not something I can say for half the trimmers I've owned. No snagging, no tearing, no "why is this suddenly crooked?" moments. Just click, slide, done. If you're cutting cards, labels, crafts, planner inserts, or just trimming down documents - this makes it easy and oddly satisfying. Feels like a small upgrade, but makes everything look noticeably cleaner. Highly recommend.

Incredible quality for a very affordable price. Much more precise than a guillotine trimmer and the blade is much more sharper than other typical sliding trimmers. Cuts very cleanly and extremely straight. Really love the wire line so you can see where the cut will be made. Highly recommend!

The easiest and best tool to cut paper - at any angle and with precision. I have all sorts of paper cutters and this one is the most versatile, easiest to use, lightest and most efficient.

I received it today and I'm giving it a favorable review. At the time of purchase it was about $36, but with a coupon it came down to about $23. It cuts well and is definitely an upgrade from the generic paper trimmer I got from Hobby Lobby. My only complaint is the white alignment grid decal. It’s a 12×6-inch decal, and in the center there was an obvious bubble where it hadn’t fully adhered to the plastic surface. I used my vinyl weeding tool to poke a small hole and then used a brayer and vinyl squeegee to press it down. That helped, but there are still some smaller bubbles—nothing that affects performance, though. Alignment is easy, and I think it’s the best feature. I primarily cut vinyl for my Cricut projects and DTF transfer sheets, and it works well for both. When you place the trimmer on a dark surface, you can see a 1/8-inch gap between the white alignment decals, and that space is exactly where the cut is made. This is especially helpful for DTF sheets since it makes alignment easier and allows for precise cuts without damaging the transfers. Overall, it’s a really good trimmer - easy to align, accurate, and simple to use. The extending ruler arm seems solid for a plastic build, and I appreciate the extra blade, though it would be nice if it had onboard storage for it. I just wish the alignment decal were applied more cleanly. For what I paid, I don’t have buyer’s remorse.

This paper cutter wins the day for the very accurate cuts that it can make thanks to the wire guide for the rolling cutters. With most paper cutters there is often an approximation of where the cut will be or whether the cut is perfectly perpendicular to the paper edge. This cutter has a fine silver wire visible from above the paper that is an extremely accurate guide. Hence, it is not necessary to butt the paper against the perpendicular guide; all you need to do is align the wire to your material and press down on the rolling cutter. This is perfect for trimming home-made business cards, for example. In addition, the cutter blades can be replaced so there are no annoying paper jams made by incomplete cutting. Finally, the cutter is only about an inch thick so it can be placed on a shelf or book case to be out of the way when not in use.

Honestly, I don't know how people get by without one of these on hand. There's nothing like it for a clean, straight cut EVERY time. Faster than scissors, and definitely more accurate. I use it multiple times every day... granted, I'm an artist, but I gave one to my husband and he loves having it in his shop. He doesn't use it daily like I do, but it's great to have when needed. It does seem spendy, but my last one lasted me 25 years. To be honest, the cutter never did break or become inaccurate - but the wire guide finally bit the dust just from so much use. So the cutter still works perfectly fine, however I rely on the wire guide for cuts that require precision. Get it, you won't be sorry!!!

Not sure if we're all reviewing the same product but my "precision" cutter is not precise at all unlike what most people are saying. I do see a few other reviewers have noted the same as me. The wire bends, line up the wire with where you want to cut and it's off by a couple of milimeters. The cutting blade moves, the plastic guide bends as you cut so you have to basically adjust the paper left by a few millimeters and hold down the arm so it doesn't bend in as you cut and cause a curved cut. Wish I'd bought the Dahle.

Great trimmer. The measurements are easy to read as you place the paper over the ruler, also the wire helps you see exactly where you are cutting. I have drawn with a black sharpie on the wire to make it even more obvious. One reviewer had said it's not for crafters, I disagree. It's the best trimmer I've had and I've been crafting for 30+ years.
