Wella Professionals Color Fresh Mask 150ml

Lifesaver. Ended up with a head of nasty ashy blonde highlights on my brunette hair when 18 months of grey-blending with a trusted stylist went south with someone new. What can I say. Lyndsey had moved on, I took a chance and wow, did I lose hard. Anyway, my hair needed serious toning down and after some research, this product and this shade - after a test on a particularly nasty skunk stripe - did the trick. My hair didn’t turn blue or green. I know it’ll need a refresh in a week or two, but it’ll keep me out of the salon until I figure out where I’m going for my next cut (and toner only). FYI, I tried Caramel Glaze on another horrible stripe and it came out a little pink. Sort of a rose gold shade, which was actually kinda nice but not what I was after today. Pics are my hair a few weeks ago, for context, blonde state earlier today and after the mask. Excuse the frizz - my hair is thick, wavy and generally tricky. I hope this review helps someone else some day! Not wishing anyone a salon horror, but you know what I mean.

This is amazing! The results it gives are just like the toner you get at the hair salon. It removes all traces of brassiness and yellow without leaving any purple residue you sometimes get with purple shampoos.I found for the best results you need to towel dry your hair really well after washing before applying a generous amount. Saturate the hair. It says to leave for 10 mins but I always leave it for around 15 and it results in a lovely pale, creamy blonde and my highlights and the darker parts seem to take on a more smoky tone. I love love love it and am just ordering a second tube now!

I’m obsessed with this product - I’ve purchased it so many times. I really think it’s the best I’ve ever used as a colour toner in between hairdressing appointments. I especially like how creamy the texture is and blends so well for my hair.

This leave the most atrocious RED tint on your hair, I had some bleached highlights that I didn't like and had hoped this would help me conceal it for some time until I get it fixed. Not only the strands turned ugly red/orange but it won't wash out as easy as it seems, it really stained.
