Smooth, quiet, stable.
I paid £159 in June 2025 for this, 80x180cm, and I think it was good value. Assembling took an hour or so. Instructions were good, nothing missing. Everything fitted well and is of good quality. I do find that I'm using the standing position more than I expected to - I mostly wanted a sitting desk that I could adjust the height of as I've found my sitting position changes. The controls are well placed and easy to understand, and setting heights is clear. The motor is very quiet and also very smooth in operation. There is a slight wobble at full height as you type, but is easily gotten used to. You will need plenty of space around the desk, and to make sure no wires can get snagged as it changes height, and that's true of all such desks.

Really nice desk
Bought this to replace a corner desk in my man cave after buying a similar electric raising desk for my son this Christmas. This one is a different model but almost the same design. Once again the desktop itself is a four piece design and I used wood glue on the dowels to ensure a decent fit. The build instructions are straightforward and this desk was put together in about have an hour. The functionality of it is great. You can set the perfect height for you. The motor is quiet and the action is smooth. It’s a very sturdy desk and great value for the price. Mine is 160cm wide so takes up a bit of space but I find it to be a much more usable space than the corner desk I had before. The box it arrives in is small, densely packed and very heavy so if you need to take it upstairs get someone to help you if possible as it’s back breaking when all packed together. This is the second height raising desk I’ve bought. I shouldn’t need another one but if I was forced to replace this I would get another one.

Easy assembly with great instructions
Bought the desk as WFH and now my daughter has moved out I am getting a proper "office". When I was in the office full time I quite often used to stand up to work and missed that since being at home. Was really surprised at being able to get such a great desk at a reasonable price. So much more expensive elsewhere for essentially the same thing. Came in a very heavy box and so I had to unpack it and carry in smaller bundles upstairs. You need quite a big floor space to set it up as you do it upside down on the floor. The instructions are absolutely brilliant and really clear and easy to follow. I am a middle aged arthritic kneed woman and I managed to make the desk up by myself. There were a few tricky moments but all went well. Only thing I need help with was lifting the whole thing up and placing the right way up. It is a lovely size and holds all my office stuff with ease whilst still leaving plenty of working space. The mechanism is smooth and quiet. You have to remember to make sure that your wires are long enough to be lifted up without pulling on the plugs etc. Only criticism up to now is that the desk is in 4 pieces and although they are pretty solid they do flex a bit and so I would not try out sitting on the desk as in the adverts! There are some metal plates connecting the pieces but I think I will be adding some more just to make it a bit more sturdy. Highly recommend the desk for the cost and time will tell if it stands up to regular use.

Best desk ever.
I absolutely love this desk (160x80 version) .It looks smart, it is sturdy, works smoothly and has a huge range of extension. I am 6'1' and at the max it goes to my elbows - when standing! One or two reviews questioned the solidity. OK at the highest it can rock ever so slightly - but absolutely not unreasonable when you consider the height and that in my case it rests on a cushioned carpet. I have no hesitation in describing it as sturdy - if you put it together right. The assembly took me just under an hour. The instructions are clear and come in a nice booklet. Some tips...1) be sure and have enough floor space around you. 2) Fully tighten the screws and if you use a power tool make sure it has adjustable torque so you don't rip the particle board by over doing it. I set the torque on mine a bit low to be safe then went over with a screw driver to finish off the final half turn. 3) The desk is heavy and so when moving the the table I'd always suggest always holding the metal frame rather than just the board - just less strain on the fittings. Negatives? If I have to be picky, the cable length for the power adapter could be longer. Also the "feet" do not seem to adjust so if your surface is not flat you may have to fiddle with a spacer. I'm thinking that may be by design to help stability. Only used for two days so cannot comment on motor/electronics reliability/

Very solid for that price.
Very happy with desk. It is quite easy to assemble, and it is quite sturdy, although my floor is not flat but with stuff on, now it feels good. Only one downside is that after assembly, you may feel these little gaps between each panel, but if you use a pad, it is not a problem at all. Could fit my PC+43' TV and two Monitors on arms. Desk goes up and down with all of this stuff very easily.

Sturdy good looking desk and easy to assemble.
This desk looks great, it’s very sturdy and the powered height adjustment works very well and quietly. It has 4 pre-programmed heights which you can reprogram by manually adjusting to your perfect height and then pressing and holding one of the four programmable height buttons. You can also adjust the height up or down by pressing the up or down arrow buttons. Assembly was easy but there are a lot of parts and I took my time to do it carefully and it took about 2 hours. Everything is labelled so you can’t really go wrong. Leave the screws and small pieces in their bags and take out what you need for each stage so you don’t lose anything. Double check the instructions and it will all be fine. When attaching the desk top to the base, I put the base on its feet (the right way up) and put the desk top on top, and screwed it on from underneath which meant I didn’t need a second person to help flip the whole assembled desk onto its feet. I used an electric screwdriver too which made the whole process painless. You’ll need approximately twice the floor space that the desk will occupy to assemble the whole thing.

A great desk for the price!!
A great desk, i was a bit apprehensive when i saw the notes of people having broken motors after 2-3 uses, but i have been using this desk now for the last 4 months. and no issues whatso ever. Lots of room for both my monitors, 34" curved and a 24" side monitor. also a big printer next to them. Instructions for assembly were very clear, i assembled most myself but when it came to tipping over i would highly advise a second person otherwise i think you'd break the legs. i have had to buy my own adhesive cable tidies as the ones provided were a little poor. but with the amount of cables i was trying to tidy its no wonder. i am sure the ones provided would of worked with what they were designed for, ( the motor power wire) all in all, very very happy with the desk, yes it isn't the Secretlabs one, but it also isn't the Secretlabs price. a very affordable stand/sit desk.

Great desk. Exceeded my expectations!
Better than expected! I bought this desk after deliberating between several (seemingly almost identical) alternatives on Amazon. I eventually decided on this desk after reading the reviews etc. When it arrived, I was impressed with how well it was packaged. Nothing was damaged and everything was well protected. The instructions must be some of the BEST and clearest flat-pack instructions I have ever seen. Absolutely idiot-proof and made assembly for one person easy (in my opinion). I have now been using the desk for a couple of months and I love it. It is stable at the lower heights. There is, as others have mentioned, a slight “wobble” at full height but this is not significant and is not too much that it impacts the use. I would definitely recommend this desk to anyone asking me, if they were considering purchasing a desk of this type.
