I recently purchased this tree topper and it's a great addition to our Christmas tree! The star itself is beautifully designed and adds an elegant touch to the top of our tree, but it’s the smart features that really elevate it. It’s the perfect size to sit comfortably at the top of the tree without being overwhelming. It feels solid, and durable but lightweight enough to not weigh down the tree. The LED lights are vibrant and cover a wide range of colors. The color-changing effect is smooth and really enhances the festive atmosphere. It’s a big hit with the family. The app control is nice and functional. You can sync the lights to music, which makes the topper "dance" to the rhythm of your favorite holiday tunes. I do wish I could control it with Alexa/Google or remotely from the app, but it's nice to be able to control it via Bluetooth on the app. It's very easy to use, and I was able to set up everything in just a few minutes. You can customize the lighting colors, adjust brightness, and even set a schedule so the lights automatically turn on and off at the same time every day. We’ve been using the timer function, which is convenient and ensures we don’t have to remember to turn the lights on or off. Whether you prefer to control the lights through the app or the included remote, both options work flawlessly, but there are many more options with the app. The remote has a simple interface with buttons for changing colors, adjusting brightness, and controlling the music sync. The range is good, and we’ve never had trouble with connectivity. We were so excited to try out this star tree topper that we put our Christmas tree up extra early this year! It is so great! The lights are so bright and festive, and the 25 light modes give us so many ways to set the mood. The remote control is super convenient for switching colors, speed, and even setting a timer. The USB plug-in and long wire make it easy to set up without any hassle. It’s a beautiful, fun addition to our holiday decor, and the whole family loves it!

When I saw this come on the list, I immediately ordered it. With Christmas coming up, I’m starting to give thought to how I’m going to decorate this year.When it arrived, I found that it was very lightweight. It’s made of plastic, 1 piece in the front and one on the back. There’s an obvious area near the base, that shows the point where it was glued together, and seeing that gap, I’m not sure how well it’ll hold up.This star has a ton of lighting options, with a remote control that allows you to select whatever color or pattern you like. It can be changed with the click of a button anytime when it is lit.-Since I won’t be decorating for Christmas, until after Thanksgiving, I won’t use it in that manner. I’m one who doesn’t think we need to begin Christmas the day after the 4th of July!! Christmas will arrive, on the same day of the same month, as it does every year. The need to start pushing it that early, really annoys me. It’s too much about the mighty dollar!!I have 5 metallic artificial trees, 3-5 feet tall. I have an empty space to fill, and it’s very visible, so I call them my tree farm. I keep them up all year, decorating them with different themes thru out the year. I have people rave about it, and take pictures of it all of the time. Right now, I’ve decorated for hallowed, to be followed by thanksgiving.So, I’m using this star, by, having it lit in solid orange. I will use it in that same way, for Thanksgiving. I’ve placed it behind the metallic trees, and it’s an explosion of color. The star kinda has an iridescent effect because of the way the star is made. My family loves it. I hope this star holds up until Christmas, I already know what I’ll use it for.While this star does provide for a lot of options, I go back to the plastic, and hope where it looks fractured, is only an optical illusion. I give it 4 stars.

This star is super pretty, can you control it with your phone, can you control the music? Can you control the colors? It's super cute for my Christmas tree.

Originally got this due to the longer USB plug that is on itWould prefer a general plug or even batteries, but seems like most are on USB.The material is plastic. Which is fine.The remote has many functions on itI believe this will not last long due to how fragile and skinny the wires are for the USB plug.It is ultra thin wiring....like the type you find on fairy lights.....which in my experience are good for a couple years.For the price it will do for this Christmas and possibly nextWill keep an eye out for a better upgrade.
