A convenient way to export photos and store them that doesn’t require a subscription or uploading pictures to tech bros. Just make sure you get the right connector for your phone if you have something older. The app was easy to install and use. 256gb is plenty of room for what I needed to do now and for the future. I’m not sure if the limiting factor was this drive or the phone but the first full backup of a lot of photos did take some time but it chugged along and finished without any drama - something I can’t say for Windows when trying to copy directly. As a bonus this does work as a regular flash drive to move files between computers if needed.

This is very straightforward and a massive benefit over subscribing to the cloud. It’s great price of mind to protect as a secondary or tertiary protection for valuable phone data (more than just photos). Just use the native ‘Files’ app on the phone.

Extremely easy to use. Fit perfectly in my iPhone 11 and my iPhone 17 air. The design is sleek and sturdy. I only got the 126gb and that was plenty for me. I would def recommend this drive.

⭐ 1 out of 5 — The Worst Customer Service I’ve Experienced I purchased a SanDisk memory drive (USB-C version) through Amazon, and what followed has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences of my life. Within just a few days of use, the drive failed completely. I contacted SanDisk customer support — which is a subsidiary of Western Digital — expecting a straightforward replacement process. Instead, I was dragged through five months of delays, repetitive emails, missed phone calls, and meaningless requests for information that SanDisk already had in their system. Despite explaining multiple times that I was using an iPhone 16 with a USB-C adapter, they sent me a replacement drive with an outdated Lightning connector — which was completely incompatible. It became abundantly clear that their representatives don’t understand the very products their company manufactures. Even after finally returning the defective drive as they requested, I still have not received a functional replacement. Instead, I’ve been subjected to more stalling tactics, like being asked to send photos of products they themselves shipped and more pointless back-and-forth communication. This is not just bad service — it's negligent and disrespectful of customers' time and trust. SanDisk (Western Digital) may once have been a reliable name in storage, but based on this experience, I can’t in good conscience recommend anyone purchase their products. Avoid this company at all costs.

Perfekter Speicher. Ich kann selber bestimmen welche Fotos ich abspeichern will, welche ich behalten will, welche ich nach dem Speichern löschen will auf dem iPhone, und ich kann sie vom Speicher anschließend direkt auf eine externe FP speichern, sodass es auf diesem USB wieder Platz gibt.
