Ur Game

Really fun game that is easy to learn.

Utterly addictive, huge fun for the whole family, it only a few minutes to understand the basic rules (there are various versions, definitely worth checking out the video by Irving Finkel online!!), but performance will gradually improve with more tactical finesse. This reproduction is not quite as pretty as some of the more expensive versions available, but it is still a very decorative object, and perfect for playing.

Excellent game and a very well made replica 'board'. Took our game rules from Youtube British Museum video, and we've had a very competitive time. A whole game can change on one roll of the dice (there are 2 sets included so no need to pass them across each time as you've one set each), it's just a great game! Look forward to increase our depth of gameplay/knowledge but it's as easy to play as snakes and ladders with little instruction.

Brilliant game that's lots of fun for two people! The instructions that come with it are very different from other instructions online and YouTube and I preferred the YouTube ones so would recommend finding those.

Overall this is a really fantastic replica of game of Ur! The majority of the pieces are well painted (a few die and tokens missing some paint), and the board is beautiful. I'm really not a fan of the rules included with this set, and instead play by the rules deciphered by British Museum Curator Irving Finkel from a Mesopotamian cuneiform tablet. Happy with the purchase and really enjoyed playing it so far.

Fantastic game that is easy to understand, yet competitive. Bought it for my history enthusiast partner who has thoroughly enjoyed it, as have all our friends.

Simple but Challenging Game for 2 Players

I really enjoy this game - I first played it digitally with a friend and it is so easy to learn, simple to play, but addictive and even intense with how close some games get. The box arrived fairly quick, in good condition, but upon opening it I saw that the ridges of some squares were not glued straight, giving an overall cheap, "wonky" appearance. The draw is a nice touch though which it is well fitted, plus I like the patterns and designs on the board itself. Overall, if the quality of the product was better I would give it an easy 5 stars, but I have to knock off 2 stars. This could have been a display item, but now it is staying in the box when I am not using it.
