The Dometic CFX2 has been an awesome portable fridge so far. It feels extremely durable and well built, and it does a great job of keeping everything consistently cold. One of my favorite things about it is how compact it is compared to some of the larger electric coolers, so it doesn’t take up a ton of space in the vehicle. The smaller size does mean it holds less food and drinks, but for one or two people it’s honestly perfect. It’s a great size for camping, overlanding, road trips, or just keeping food and drinks cold while traveling. Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality, cooling performance, and compact size of the CFX2. If you don’t need a huge fridge and want something durable and reliable that doesn’t take up a lot of room, I’d definitely recommend it.

This a a quality brand that makes a quality product. Perfect capacity we 3-4 day camping trip. Not too bulky plus the handles make it super easy to carry solo. This thing sips electricity and can easily run with a portable bank and 100w solar panel, also has a car charger that auto turns on so no issues when you have to turn your off to gas up. Stays cold even on hot days. No dual cooling zones, but it’s good for my usage. There are more cost effective alternatives out there, but for something like this I do believe you get what you pay for

I’ve been using the Dometic CFX2 28-Liter for a few months now, and it’s exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether I’m on a weekend camping trip, road-tripping, or just need some extra fridge space, this unit performs flawlessly. Overall, the Dometic CFX2 28L is an outstanding portable fridge/freezer. It’s well-built, energy efficient, and gives me peace of mind knowing my food and drinks are safe no matter where I go. Highly recommended for campers, overlanders, or anyone needing reliable portable refrigeration.

Excellent cooler, quiet running, well built, good warranty and reputation. Only draws about 45watts when running. (It cycles on and off as needed) Love the idea it can run on 12v or 120. We can plug it into the truck bed and not have to worry about ice. Off grid, it will run on a Jackery 1000 for about 3 days. Is it light... not really, weighs about the same as a typical cooler of the same capacity with ice, except that you don't have to drain the water. For us, not having to worry about where the next bag of ice will come from or if it is available was great.

Didn't even bother to unbox this. All of the pictures and even the Dometic manual show the hinges on the long side. That's why I bought it. Fact is the hinges are on the short side and the lid opens lengthwise. This doesn't work in our application and I immediately returned it. Reduced to one star after I noticed that the unit had a physical defect inside the tub. Expensive junk. Have to revert to our Yeti for the road trip because of this nonsense.

We bought this cooler for our motorhome. Absolutely love it. Fits underneath in one of the compartment s Plugs into a outlet. Keeps beverages cold.

I use this in my work van with a power bank and it’s great, does not draw a lot of power from my Anker

Ran this on a single Lion battery for four days in the freezer range and 100 degree heat. Does the job.!
