Erroneous description
The product is described as "made in Germany", however on the box they say "made in India". I am not sure about the accuracy. I had a 20 point-difference between the Accu Check Performa and the One Touch Ultra that I have been using. Accu Check being lower. I wanted to change my glucometer since the Accu Check test strips are more affordable, but I'll have to stick to One Touch Ultra.UPDATES 1/10/2020The product is actually made in Germany . It says so on the device itself. It is only the box it came in that is made in India. My apologies. Nevertheless there is still a discrepancy between the new device and my old one. I don't know which one to trust. Yesterday I had a 20-point difference. This morning I tested and it was 10 points. The new device is always lower. I would like to believe it is correct but how can I be sure?

Good meter, but
Good, easy to use meter. But I wasn't able to buy control solution, so I cannot check how meter/strips are accurate. I called tech support and find out that this meter wasn't sold in US and I cannot buy control solution. Per Accu-check tech support, Control solution from different Accu-check meters for some reasons will not work with this one. I also was told that this model was discontinued a while ago, so in a year or two could be a problem to buy strips.

OK
Not thrilled with this unit. Have used Accu Check meter in the past - this one not as easy to use. I have been unable to see how to really set it up to be sure for accuracy. Also, trying to get the exact amount of blood on the tiny area of the strip is difficult without receiving an error and having to try again.Update: I'm furious! Still trying to manage the right amount of blood to test. Either miss the tiny mark completely or meter says too much. Just wasted 5 strips and no reading. I HATE this thing. Will look for another to buy. Good thing I'm not a brittle diabetic or dependent on insulin. I'd be in real trouble.

Must get strips from India and control fluid from Australia
This was of course ordered for diabetes testing. It was returned because the strips are no longer available for vendors in the United States and had to be ordered from India. Not sure but believe that Roche no longer makes them. As for the control fluid, it has to be ordered from one of two sellers in Australia over Ebay at ridiculously high. prices. I believe one wanted $30 and the other $49 for a 4 ounce bottle.

Battery low., not sure if glucose results are correct. This could be detrimental so do something!!
I really like this diabetic kit, has worked very well since I received it on February 27th. Last two days it’s reading error because of low battery which is ridiculous that the battery is already low. I haven’t even had it for a month and am not able to go to the store to buy a new one. I’m following guidelines to stay home as I am high risk! Elderly, diabetic and cancer. Please help me out and send a new battery. Thank you for attention to this situation.Ann Barrett

Frustrating
This isn't the easiest unit to use although I don't have any previous experience. Get a lot of errors. The most annoying thing is that it takes a button battery and it wore out after 3 days. Very frustrating since I don't have an inventory of that type if battery.

I am quite happy with it
I am quite happy with it,it works very well, fairly easy to use doesn't take a lot of time to get your reading. The display is easy to read and to get last reading is fairly simple. All and all I would recommend this meter.

Easy to use
This is my second one of these. I stayed with the same brand because I have seen some others I could hardly figure out how to use. Greeting 100 strips is nice also. The package came as expected. Good purchase by me
