Not just a book OF maps.All of the pictures of maps (and there are ALL kinds of maps and charts covered) are great to look at, but each has several pages dedicated to sections of the map, while being surrounded by informative text blocks explaining said map in great detail.

This atlas has a fabulous collection of maps which are quite fascinating. I already found several maps which occupy my attention for quite a while.This is a must for all lovers of maps!

This book looks incredible. Full color interesting maps on every page capture the fascination while explaining the history of maps. From ancient maps to subway maps and everything in between. I’m so excited to have this book.

A little threadbare for its size, but there aren't a lot of options for map lovers out there, so four stars for making any book at all with a bunch of beautiful maps in it.

I bought this as a gift for a friend that is into all kind of maps he absolutely loves this book it is very interesting just from glancing through it I learned a few things lol great illustrations very informative it’s a little heavy lol but wonderful I would highly recommend and yes on the map some are too small but that’s what great about this book because once you read the information on the side of it you know what you are looking at it’s great enjoy and happy reading highly recommend five stars

The item was well packaged and protected, love to see and read about history about the maps and who had done the map love that the book is really beautiful, this will be on an end table in the house to look at when ever. Great purchase glad to have it👍😀thanks.
