Erte Postcards in Full Color: 24 Ready-to-Mail Postcards (Dover Postcards)

These cards and booklet thing is so beautiful. I love this artist. It's so smooth and pristine, I kinda don't even want to tear them out to use them. The only piece I don't like is the Adam & Eve themed one, but I'd probably like it if it weren't for the subject matter. There may be one other I don't totally love (which means it'll be easier to give it away to snail pail pals), but the rest I really love!

Beautiful postcards. Vibrant colors. I won't use the postcards for mailing. They make a beautiful booklet for appreciation of the art and of Art Deco design.

Beautiful cards! The cardstock is of the best quality, the illustrations shiny, pure Erté. I love the packaging, 4 cards to a page. In love with the book!

Great selection of pictures along with quality. I bought to frame with some existing 5x7 greeting cards (which i cant find anymore). I read about issues removing the cards from the book (perforation). I removed the staples first then the pages. I used a scissor to cut each 8 card page in half (4 cards now per page). Each 4 card page I then folded horizontally, bending it back and forth multiple times, and the perforations "gave way." I repeated the process - 2 cards/page then a single card; cards removed "cleanly." I am extremely happy with the product.

I trade postcards internationally and have been looking for an alternative to sending location-based cards. I stumbled on this book and decided to give it a shot on a whim because of the great price and free prime shipping.The book was surprisingly thin, but I'm not sure what I was expecting since it contains only 24 postcards! There are multiple cards on a sheet that must be torn/cut along the perforation for use. I am guessing that I will end up trimming off the perforation marks, but for the price this isn't a deal breaker for me.The print quality is excellent on these cards and the stock they are printed on makes them about as thick as any other postcard. I expect that these will hold up in the mail quite well and I think that anyone that receives them will love them! I am definitely considering buying another copy and/or possibly framing a couple of these cards as the art is more beautiful than I expected.

These postcards are great and good quality prints.

This is a postcard book with 4 postcards per page. For the price, I am not shocked that there is perforation on the cards. I knew that from other reviews. The biggest let down, the art on the cards were not lined up or centered on each card at all. I had one card that had literally been printed off the page with an inch of white crooked margin on the opposite side. VERY POOR QUALITY.

I'm in a postcard club and send postcards all over the globe so I wanted to get a large collection at the right price and have them be really pretty - the Dover collections do just that. I chose this rating because there's really nothing to complain about with these cards. They are gorgeous. The price is right and they come in a book. You can tear them out as you go along, or tear all of them out at once (which is what I did) and store them for use. Some of the other cards by Dover Postcards have the artist's biography (Mucha) on the inside and that was an added bonus.

I love Erte art and these postcards are ideal for a message in a gift. Love them.

Lovely postcards just what i wanted

I love everything Erte, the man is one of muy favourite illustrators, so you can imagine my excitement when I ordered these cards. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the print quality, the details are not clear at all. Do not buy these postcards!

Lovely cards! Glossy on the print side. Not all cards are the same size though (depends where you rip the card out of the booklet). Wish they were bigger. All 24 cards are different.
