Great printing 90% of the time. I did experience some leveling issues in the back corner, but was not a big deal. The quality of the prints were very good, especially for the price of the printer, although it had a smaller print size than I was expecting, which had me constantly having to adjust the size of my model. Most of the time the prints were very accurate, although some of the time, especially when I was printing larger things I would experience some warping. And in one specific case when I was trying to print a light saber that came in many pieces it straight up just didn’t print a few of them. I don’t know if this was a printer error or a computer error but something happened that caused like half of the parts to not print. The resin vats did have a tendency of breaking, which was annoying, but not too bad, and may have been my own fault. although it did cause me to have to replace the LCD screen, which surprisingly was not that expensive and I think was only like 25 to 50 bucks. One thing I will say is it doesn’t work great after your friend punches it because they don’t know how to play VR and set up their boundary way too close. Although this is not the printer’s fault, it did give me a good chance to see how easy it was to clean seeing as when my friend punched it. It was in the progress of printing. It is very easy to clean, and if you approach it with common sense is not too difficult to take apart and deep clean.

I was a little hesitant about getting into resin printing, but the ANYCUBIC Photon Mono 4 has completely won me over. Right out of the box, setup was quick and straightforward. The instructions were clear, and within an hour, I had my first test print done.The print quality is fantastic—sharp details, smooth surfaces, and minimal layer lines. I’ve printed miniatures, custom parts, and even some intricate models, and everything has turned out beautifully. The monochrome screen speeds up print times while also lasting longer than traditional LCDs, which is a huge plus.I also appreciate how user-friendly this printer is. The resin vat and build plate are easy to clean, and leveling is simple compared to other printers I’ve used. So far, I’ve had zero failed prints, which speaks to how well-calibrated this machine is.If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality resin printer at a great price, this is definitely the one to get. Highly recommended!

Got this to replace my well-worn photon 4k that unfortunately did not make it past a move. I like the improvements Anycubic has made since then, the prints are definitely more high res, and I'm getting less failures than usual. I can actually move the lid to check on the print and not stop&ruin the print! I had a power outage and had to resume a print, on my old machine it would've failed but this one picked up right where the outage went out and the print came out perfect.

I got this resin printer because I had a client that needed some things that just required too much detail for a traditional filament printer to handle. I went with the mono 4 because I didn't need large capacity or anything fancy, just an easy to set up and use printer.For it's price, this is a heck of a deal. Set up was easy and I was printing within 30 minutes. Build plate adhesion is excellent, so long as you pay attention when slicing. Resin typically sticks stronger to the bed than you would expect if your'e coming from FDM, so be aware of that. The speed of printing and quality were what I expected, and both were very good. You can achieve resolutions small enough that layer lines are virtually invisible. As for the smell, that's a part of any resin printer and will vary depending on what resin you're using. I ended up putting it in our garage so I can vent it outside and really only notice it when I remove the hood. Of course PPE is strongly recommended.

This printer is my first foray into printing 3d models of characters and the setup was quick, and quite easy despite that the leveling is manual it is also straightforward, and the overall user experience is beginner friendly. I really like the laser-engraved build plate and resume function, plus the included tools helped me out quite a bit for a first print.Print quality is consistently high, even with minimal settings tweak on the slicer, I did notice some lines on my print but I feel like that is more due to my settings and trying to understand things.However it also has its downsides which include a mostly plastic build, a small low-quality touchscreen, and a slicer (Photon Workshop) that can be buggy, so I ended up using two slicers with the Photon just for printer settings and export. ALSO the biggest downside is the FEP is a whole unit complete and stretched that is not compatible with any other models and you do need to buy specifically, which I had to do it asap due to it quickly making my prints fail due to the lightest scratch. Still, for the print quality and price, it’s a great entry-level resin printer with good results.

I tried filament printing a few years back, and I just couldn't get it to work very well. The cost of this was reasonable, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. The software is usable. I wish I could move the view a bit easier, but it's not utter crap. I liked that the plate leveling was easy- and a one-and-done. I've printed a few things on here now, and I'm happy with them. My only issue is the prints stick too much to the build plate, but that's likely a setting I'm still honinig in. Here are a couple of the things I printed. First is Uzi Jesus from the novel Dungeon Crawler Carl (great read). I painted him for my brother-in-law as he related to this character. The second print was a miniature I created from Hero Forge. The bigger one is standard game size, the smaller one is 72mm scale for a diorama I build. They all printed great with the water-washable resin from Anycubic.Overall, I'd recommend this for anyone wanting to build some small bits for arts and crafts or some practical builds (I printed a small spade to clear out the snowblower chute, works great).

I'd been very excited to purchase this item, and had high hopes. It arrived on may 22nd. Unfortunately, it worked all of once before the touch screen went out of alignment and I could no longer access all the controls. Rather than return it right away, I contacted the company for tech support on June sixth, still within my return window. The next day, I had a response, and they recommended I try re-installing the firmware. So I did that, it had no effect, so then they sent me a new touch screen to install myself. It arrived on the sixteenth, I followed the instructions I found on their website (the package itself included no instructions). When I got everything put back together, the screen now didn't come on at all. So, I sent a message to inform them I received it, followed the directions, and the result. And waited. Again. The next day, they sent a message to inform me that the package had arrived and been signed for. I confirmed that yes, I'd already sent a message confirming that, but that there was now what appeared to be resin seeping into the middle of the lcd screen. And again waited until the next day, when they asked for pictures. I sent pictures on June 20th. The next day, they posted a message that the assigned specialist was out of the office. on the 21st, they suggested cleaning it with an alcohol wipe to see if it made any difference. when I confirmed that I had done that, they informed me they would send me a replacement piece to install myself. That was on the 22nd, the last day I would have been able to return it to Amazon. On the 25th, they confirmed it had been shipped. I once again looked up instructions that were not included with the part, and installed it according to the instructions. While the LCD screen now seems to be properly installed, the touch screen still does not work, and now, from the number of times I've taken it apart and put it back together, the holes that the screws go in are crumbling on several parts, as well as the outer housing that the parts go into and connect to. When mentioning this, and that I don't think I CAN fix this, their response has been "well, you are outside of your return window for Amazon, and we have no right to handle returns or refunds, but you are still under warranty, so we can keep sending you parts." The problem I see here is, I'm not qualified to be doing these repairs, and it's mostly guesswork on my part, and repeated requests to be allowed to send it to a professional have been brushed off with "we know this is time consuming and inconvienent, but trust us, also, we'll send you a free bottle of resin".

I want to print waxes for lost wax casting of jewelry. The detail was very important to me and the ease of use. On both accounts it is exceptional. Know that to get the full use of the printer you will need a computer to run photon workshop

Impressora incr'vel. Tinha uma antiga photon e esta supera em tudo, desde tempo de impressão, qualidade da impressão e extremamente silenciosa (nem parece que está funcionando). Recomendo

I'd advice against buying a resin printer as it's too much work, safety wise. Dangerous too. But it delivers quality. Be careful when you are removing your model, I punctured the thin coated film. It's easy to use for most cases. Comes with pen drive too. Performance is good too. Not fast, at the beginning. Value for money for sure. Just be careful. Because resins are dangerous, I did not know that time.
