The Fundamental Book of Sigil Magick Paperback – February 22, 2018

Everything you wanted to know about sigils, but didn't know enough to ask.

I really like this book because it shows various ways to make sigil other than the traditional letter removal method (or grid method). It also has several pre-created sigils in the back of the book that can be used for various projects.

Decent but certainly a short book. This book provides some slightly modified techniques from that which I’m familiar with and interestingly enough, seemed to resonate better with me.Largely though, there’s a fair amount of the book that simply premade sigils to for the reader to try, completely with basic suggested use and their mantra-esque names derived from their intentions. There was also some space for you to notate your own experiences when utilizing them.I’d rather have hoped there to be a more in-depth discussion on other techniques but the book mostly boils down to physical and mental concepts of sigilwork and really only two methods for conjuring these things.That said though— I do want to reiterate that while the primary technical for designing the sigil was only slightly different than other methods I’m familiar with, it DID still resonate with me. I’m definitely putting the concepts from this into practice. Over all it’s a decent buy. And I’d recommend it for the novice for sure.

Loved the amount of Sigils and details in thr book

This book delivered in both expression of idea and intention of education on the subject of sigils. However, it is quite riddled with both spelling and grammatical errors; the most I have ever found in any published book. If you can get past those errors, then you will surely learn some valuable beginner information. I personally found it distracting in the beginning but managed to work through it and am glad to have done so! Not trying to say these things to make a jab at the author; just stating as an individual with ADHD with the intent to let others know that it’s a challenge of the book.

I bought this book after listening to Last Podcast on the Left’s episodes regarding chaos magic. I haven’t read all of the book but if you’re interested in the practice of magic, this book is a cool read. I developed a sigil and also learned about their uses. I’m by no means using the sigil actively because of the many warnings out there about practicing magic without being educated. I think it is really cool from an academic perspective too. There’s a lot of history and functionality of magic during history. I do recommend this book. Stay safe though. There’s no place for arrogance in the world of magic.

Excellent book to create your own sigils or use some given options. The detailed approach to use and activation was perfect.
