Instant Black Tea Extract Powder, Unsweetened Iced Tea Extract, 4.5 oz

I've been enjoying this during long indoor workdays when I want something refreshing without reaching for another heavy coffee. It's quick to mix, easy to keep at my desk, and fits nicely into my afternoon routine when I need a simple drink option. I usually mix it with cold water and ice, and sometimes add a little lemon for a lighter, more refreshing taste. The flavor is smooth and convenient without needing to brew tea bags or wait around. So far, I've really liked how easy it is to prepare during a busy schedule, making it a convenient addition to my daily drink routine.

I like how simple this is compared to making regular tea with tea bags. On busy mornings or at work, I can just mix a small amount into cold water, stir, and have it ready in seconds. There's no waiting for water to boil or dealing with leftover tea bags afterward. The powder mixes smoothly and delivers a strong black tea flavor with minimal effort. I usually add ice and lemon for a quick afternoon drink, and it feels refreshing without being overly heavy or sweet. Now it's one of those pantry staples I use almost without thinking because it makes preparing tea faster and fits easily into my everyday routine.

The tea is very strong, so a little goes a long way. I think the concentration is due to the consistency of this instant tea; it is a very fine powder.. like the consistency of talcum powder. Be careful not to squeeze the bag too hard or the powder will go everywhere. I sneezed my head off for five minutes, apparently I'm allergic to tea powder {^_^}, then it took ten minutes to clean up the tea dust on my counter. ALSO.. the seal on the bag the tea comes in doesn't zip closed.. it's defective (hence the three star review). I dropped in two small packets of oxygen absorber, CAREFULLY rolled up the empty part of the bag, purging as much air as possible out of the bag, trying not to create a tea dust storm, then attached a wide chip clip to keep it rolled up and closed. THEN, I put the whole shebang into a ziploc freezer bag and sealed it up. Hopefully the tea will stay fresher that way. I'm hesitant to transfer the tea to another container, like a jar, because of the whole tea dust cloud sneezing my head off and annoying cleanup afterwards thing. Update: I've given the review a fourth star because the bag seal finally began functioning.. go figure. Apparently the seal needs to be used a few times before it starts to work properly?? Since writing this review, I purchased a second bag of tea and it appears to have the same problem. So, I changed the Cons from 'BAD' to 'IFFY'. As far as caffeine content, that depends on how much you mix, although, IMO, this tea has a better caffeine kick than Lipton instant, when mixing the same amount. The slightly bitter taste of this particular tea doesn't bother me at all.. I kinda like it. PROS: GOOD TEA (slightly bitter) , CONS: IFFY BAG SEAL
