An Edition of the Bible with Rarely Seen Passages
Regardless of whether you believe in its teachings or not, the Bible is undeniably a vital historical work of literature. There have been countless editions of it that have come out over the years, but rarely will you find one so packed full of information as this one. This rare Geneva version dates back to 1560 and features not only the Old and New Testaments, but also the 14 books of Apocrypha. In these pages, you will find not just sections of the Bible that are omitted from many versions, but also a comprehensive guide on how to read and understand them. This book is a must-have for all serious literary Bible scholars, as well as individuals who feel their faith deeply and want to explore even the most minute aspects of it.

Wrong listing. No annotations
Its a Geneva Bible alright, and I enjoy it, but they are wrong. I like it, no issues there. Im not saying the title is lieing. But it is more than misleading, it is flat out incorrect. It is NOT an annotated Geneva Bible. There are NO annotations. I will be buying another Geneva Bible with the old school annotations, because those early authors had some very very interesting things to say in the annotations. This copy is missing them. There are other versions out there with the annotations. If you dont care about that, then 5/5. But the seller SHOULD change the name of the listing. It is as wront as two boys... anyways, get yourself some chapter tabs, you will thank me. See the pics, no annotations, especailly with Matthew 24. Those are interesting, I enjoy the insight our brothers in Christ had about the chapter. Unfortunately, no annotations

He loved it๐ฉท
Got this for my dad because I thought he might like it, 2 days after ordering I regretted it because I know he is REALLYY picky about what bibles he reads but he LOVED it. The print is small and if I could change that I would but he said it didn't matter. BUT LISTEN: two letters throughout the whole book are changed to a different letter but I forgot which one. I think it's either the U's or something else. But it won't mess up your reading. :) if you're picky about what bibles you read you'll love this one๐๐ฉท

The religious content is well-put-together
This book really gets us into the depths of the Old Testament, New Testament, and fourteen books of the Apocrypha. The religious content is well-put-together and the authors seem to be speaking to us, which really helps to keep one further engaged and continue reading until the very end. It is such an interesting narrative with so much information on Christianity and modernism alike that I could not put it down. Its content is developed in a clear and concise way. If one is into the theme, the narrative would be entirely appealing, but readers would definitely love this book even if they didnโt find an interest in religion before. They will start being interested in it now.

Beautifully compiled
The Bible is an essential part of history, as per many neutral historians and archeologists. In this version, the Geneva Bible 1560 Edition with annotations, we see the features of the Old and New Testaments as they were centuries ago, with the addition of anecdotes and explanations that help the reader understand things like what certain words meant and how the setting of the period impacts what the author is trying to say. It's a wonderful read for those who want to embark in a Bible study or learn more about their faith or the history of the world from a Biblical perspective.

Beautiful Bible
This is our second Geneva Bible. I really like the layout of the content. Headings for easier book search. Beautiful book. Smaller print, but I like it. One suggestion to seller: plastic wrap packaging to preserve the condition.
