Love this goat milk base for diy soap!
A good goats milk base for making homemade soap. Melts easily and holds scents and color well. I like that it is moisturizing and lathers nicely. The bars I make look high quality and I like that I can customize them to my needs. I found the price to be very fair. Highly recommended!

Amazing goat milk soap base !
This goat milk soap base is smooth, easy to melt, and perfect for making handmade soaps. It blends well with fragrances and colors without separating. The finished soap has a creamy lather and leaves skin feeling soft, moisturized, and refreshed. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and delivers great quality overall. Highly recommended!

Good Soap Base
I use this melt and pour soap base to make shaving soap pucks. I mix other ingredients in the melted soap to make the shaving soap pucks. I have made some plain bars of soap, too. No unpleasant smell, nice color. The soap feels good on your skin. Any natural additives I have used mix well with the soap base.

Nice melt-and-pour soap base (from a beginner)
I bought this Prime Creations Charcoal Soap Base as part of a larger order of soap making supplies from the same brand (I also tried their glycerin, shea butter, and goat milk bases) for a fun at-home craft session. I used it to create custom soap bars—melting these 2 pounds in a microwave-safe measuring cup with another 2 pounds of glycerin in a different measuring cup, adding yellow coloring to the clear glycerin and then some essential oils. I poured them both into a 42 oz loaf mold for 12 personalized soap bar gifts for friends and family. It was a great weekend crafting session and the charcoal gave the bars a sleek, detoxifying look without any extra effort on my part. Key features include the 2 pound unscented block, which is pre-infused with charcoal for that activated effect, a moisturizing glycerin base that’s straightforward for beginners, and the melt-and-pour design that eliminates the need for lye or complex saponification processes. No specifications on exact melting temperature were needed since it softened quickly at low heat. I could find 5 pound boxes of the others, but 2 was the most I found for the charcoal. In terms of value for money, it’s a solid pick for budget-friendly crafting—providing enough material without feeling overpriced compared to basic hobby supplies. What I liked was the overall quality; the base melts smoothly into a consistent liquid and produces soaps with a nice lather and feel once cured. Ease of use is a big plus—you literally just melt and pour, and since the charcoal is already incorporated, there’s no mess from adding powders yourself, which saves time and reduces wasted batches. It performs well for creating visually appealing bars that look professional, and the end results have held up nicely in daily use, like handwashing without crumbling prematurely. On the downside, it solidifies quicker than the other bases that I tried from Prime Creations, which would be good to know if you’re adding multiple ingredients or trying to do a complicated technique. Working in a cooler room could lead to uneven textures if you’re not fast enough and used to other bases. This could frustrate beginners during their first attempts, requiring reheating that could affect the final quality. Additionally, while it’s moisturizing, it contains additives like Sodium Coco-Sulfate and Propylene Glycol, which could irritate those with sensitive skin or dermatological conditions. Overall, it worked out well and was a low-commitment project. It was convenient and a good value. If you have skin issues, I’d be careful with all of these bases out here, because they don’t always list their ingredients and most of them have the two I listed above at least. If you need more time to work before it sets up, try a different base. For my unprofessional purposes though, it delivered a satisfying experience and good results.

The product is great, but why has it doubled in price in one month?
