Young swimmers that have never used a tech suit should know that these feel small when compared to a regular practice suit and it takes some time to put it on. Some people recommend going one or two sizes smaller so the suit is extra tight but I would not recommend it. Just go with the same size that they use in a practice suit and don’t worry if it looks and feels small. Just make sure that they don’t tug it on as they might rip it, just slowly work it up. My son dropped time and all his events during the championship meet. I thought it was only the tech suit but I’m sure it helped. It also helps mentally because everyone else is wearing a tech suit so they feel at a disadvantage if they don’t have one. Overall, he really liked it and I would buy it again for him.
