So from what I've learned about tongues there are those who have completely smooth tongues and those with "fissured" tongues that have grooves, cracks, crevices, etc. on them. People with smooth tongues are more fortunate and have far less area for food and bacteria to sit on. They can get away with just using a scraper. But if you're one of those who have a fissured tongue, like me, then you NEED to brush your tongue. You have all these crevices on your tongue for bacteria to get into and scraping alone will not get all the gunk out. Trying to do it with only a scraper won't be as clean and you'll probably end up making your tongue sore by overscraping to try and get clean. I really like the Guru Nanda brush/scraper combo. The bristles are shorter than a toothbrush which make them firmer and less bendy so they brush better but is still gentle. The scraper I think is perfect. The rubber/silicone is more gentle than plastic or metal. When I felt the scraper's edge with my finger it felt kinda thin and I thought it wouldn't be rigid enough to get a good scrape but it is. It's just the right thickness and I can hear that scraping sound when using it. I used to use an Orabrush and the rubber scraper on that was too wide or flat so the edge was duller and less effective at removing gunk. The Orabrush's bristles were also too thin and long to be any use. After using the Guru Nanda my tongue is really clean and pink. I can also use it twice a day without my tongue getting sore. With other tongue scrapers I couldn't. Even the Orabrush's rubber scraper made me sore if I did it more than once a day because I think the dull edge made me scrape harder and longer which irritated my tongue more. The handle also has this curve on it which I found made it anti-roll if you have to rest it on a sink's edge or something, which was nice. The only negative thing I can think of is the head is thicker than other tongue scrapers I've used which made it a little more likely to gag if I went farther back. Not a huge deal though. So yea I think this is the best tongue brush/scraper I've used so far. And it's very affordable! You should give it a try if you need a brush/scraper combo!

I love these, I keep my mouth super healthy in all aspects. These further promote that. I like that it's an actual brush, other similar ones may be just a scraper or non-brush alternatives. I add a little toothpaste, brush, scrape, rinse brush, scrape, final rinse. After morning coffee my tongue has coffee residue, these effectively remove that and much more. Price is great too, supports replacing every 2 weeks or so.

Easy, convenient, does the job.

This is the best tongue scraper I’ve ever tried. The traditional scraper is definitely not cleaning well between the tongue papillae. Only brush is not enough either. This scraper is 2 in 1 and it cleans so well. Great price too

I love this it works wonderfully it's a great time scraper on the back of it it gets everything off my tongue will so buy another one when I need one when this one breaks or dolls or any of those things the toothbrush part helps get further back in your mouth and more of your tongue amazing love it I only use it for this though and it doesn't make me gag like a normal toothbrush easy to use exact size of a toothbrush just a wider head it doesn't have a taste

Works good, but l would of like it to be stronger. It does clean your tongue.
