I have bought and used literally 12 water bottles, trying to find the perfect bottle. I play a lot of sports where I sweat a lot and need a lot of cold water. This one is NEARLY perfect. THE GOOD: - ceramic lined interior - excellent straw quality (doesn't bend, or break, and is centered so will not block the lid from screwing on when it's full of ice) - excellent mouthpiece on the straw (hard to describe why this is good, but when you try it you'll feel it's better than others) - button-snap-up straw lid (for easy access to the straw, plus it's fun) - built-in rubberized bottom (no "bang" sound when setting it down, and doesn't scratch on bottom) - built-in handle for easy carrying - volume is good size (not too small) THE NORMAL: - the insulation is excellent (but then so are most others in this category....except Frank Green, which is not so good) - easy to clean the interior and straw - large mouth, so easy to get lots of ice into it THE BAD: - does not fit in a car cup holder - the smaller version of this model DOES fit in a cup holder, BUT the small version IS NOT CERAMIC LINED?!?!?!? This bottle is definitely better than the second-best (Frank Green). Frank Green is also ceramic lined with a straw, so very similar category. However, the Frank Green bottle doesn't keep as cold as long, scratches easily (no built-in rubber bottom), "sweats" around the top (condensation), and has a rubber handle that breaks easily and cannot be repaired. The only advantage of the Frank Green relative to the Simple Modern is the ceramic-lined model fits in a car cup holder.

Well made but seemed to have some sort of chemical smell/taste the first time I used it. I usually drink from stainless so maybe it was just a matter of using something different. Thinking I'll look for glass instead. Returned

I had to switch to ceramic coated due to a nickel allergy. This is a tad smaller than I prefer BUT my ice doesn’t melt quickly so I can refill to make up for not being my usual giant cup. I have had no issues with the bottle, it’s easy to clean and does not leak. Negatives: it doesn’t fit in the cup holder. Positive: no weird taste when water sits all day, ice lasts alllll day, safe for SNAS folks!

Its leakproof construction slightly mitigates this by allowing you to place it on the car floor, but it’s still less convenient. -Cleaning Difficulties: The bottle is slightly cumbersome to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning, potentially discouraging regular maintenance. Suggested Alternative: -If you’re looking for something more ergonomic and versatile, the HydroJug Sport 32oz offers a comparable capacity while being easier to handle and more car-friendly. Recommendation for Shoppers: -This water bottle performs adequately for features like capacity, drinking ease, and spill protection, making it a "maybe" recommendation depending on your priorities. If ergonomic design and easy cleaning are dealbreakers, you may want to consider alternatives. However, if leakproof functionality and a large capacity are more critical, this could still be a good pick.

I purchased this bottle to avoid stainless steel. I use powdered minerals in my water, both magnesium citrate and potassium citrate & sometimes borax as well, & often it is not recommended to handle powdered minerals w/metal utensils so why put them into a metallic water bottle? I really like this bottle because I prefer a bottle w/a straw feature. The push button pops up the sipping portion effectively & best of all, the inner lid isn't full of gaskets & crannies for mold to form in making cleaning harder. Water stays cold all day.

Great until the tiny little “patent pending” rubber stopper underneath the air return falls out - now it leaks EVERYWHERE

I bought this for my wife to replace one that would leak whenb tipped over. It turns out this ones is a much better watter bottle all teh way arounf. It has a flip up spout that snaps closed and opens with a push button and never leaks when closed. It had a loop handle on top making it easier to grab and carry and a durable powder coat finish that has not chipped or scratched in spite of being knocked over several times.

keeps cold for a very long time and very pure taste

Great water bottle but I don’t know why this wouldn’t come with a chug lid?? There are great lids that the company sells but I can’t seem to find one that would be compatible with this. If this came with a good chug lid with a handle it’s easily a 5/5 product
