Great little icemaker
I have had this icemaker since September 2022. I am very happy with it and so thrilled that I no longer have to go buy bags of ice. And if I fill the ice bucket that I keep in my freezer with ice from that machine, I donโt have to make ice again for quite a while. But I decided it was probably better to keep using the ice machine on a regular basis. So every day or every other day I go ahead and run one batch of ice by filling it with water to the fill line. When itโs finished making ice out of that water, I put it on standby. And depending on how fast I use that ice I may not make ice the next day. But I probably run it every other day because you just pour the water in it and walk away. Pretty simple to use. Like I said, I think itโs probably better to run it pretty often rather than let it sit for a longer period of time. I will fill my ice bucket if I am expecting company so that I donโt run out of ice. But the great thing is if you do run out of ice, you pour water in it in and in about six minutes it makes a batch of nine cubes and in about 35 minutes it makes a basket full of ice. So you can have more ice really fast if you need it. One thing that might be a little deceiving and they donโt really address it in the description of it. You need to empty the ice basket as soon as it gets full and put it in the freezer immediately. This machine is not a freezer or even really a refrigerator. it makes the ice and dumps it into the basket, but it will melt if you donโt empty the basket and put it in your freezer. Probably works on the same idea as even the large icemakers that you see in restaurants. Itโs just a bin full of ice, and if left there for too long, it will melt. so as soon as it stops making ice you need to dump that ice into a bucket in your freezer. Like I said, itโs a great little machine and I love it. My refrigerator never had an icemaker in it.

Makes 44 lb of ice every 24 hours and it's small cubed ice
I bought this because it made cubed ice, not bullet ice. I needed to be able to refill a cooler every single day while I am at a trail ride. This makes 44 lb of ice in 24 hours, you just have to dump it on a regular basis, I bought a 3 l water container that fits on the top to give it double the amount of water before you have to refill it, and it does what it says it will do reliably. I tested it out for a couple of days here at the house I'm getting ready to go to the trail ride next week. It was expensive but worth it to me. It's nice looking, but honestly I'm more concerned with reliable, and that is yet to be known. I know it will run for 2 days. When I get it where it's going, it will run constantly for 7 days while I'm there. This has to refill a cooler every single day, if it does that then it's reliable. The photo shows how big it is and the 3 l bottle that goes on top of it. It's turned off right now, but there is a hole on top where that 3 l bottle sits on their upside down and feeds water into it. That should give you an idea how big it is. If you're going to use that water bottle to feed water into it, you're not going to be doing it under a cabinet, it's too big for that! Just thought you should know.

Lots of ice
Works fast but sometimes it's just a little hard to get the square ice cubes out. Going to buy an aluminum scooper to see if it helps. Otherwise great machine, so far

Waste of time and $ for a useless cheaply made defective ice maker
Garbage item and garbage experience with this item. The first one I ordered was delivered to the wrong address. A replacement was delivered almost a week later. Item arrived defective. The item is extremely cheaply made. There was an internal leak and the stream of water didnโt cover all of the freezing coils. I use a lot of ice so I was really looking forward to not have to go to the store. Iโm sick of companies making garbage products and charging above their worth for them to either not work right away or stop working within two years. What a waste of time. I wish I could be compensated for this hassle. Anyway rant over and Buyer Beware ๐ซ

Makes very nice clear cubes
I've had this ice maker in use for several days now, and I'm very happy with how it performs. I use distilled water to get the best ice, but tap water works nearly as well. The cubes come out nice and clear due to the flowing water as they freeze. The machine regulates itself, so just leave it on, and it will cycle as needed to keep the bin full. Some ice will melt over time, but the water will be recycled into new cubes. The cubes fall out as an array, but poke at them with the scoop and they will easily break apart. The machine does make some noise when running, but it's not very loud and since it's in the kitchen, it's not a problem if it runs in the middle of the night. The unit seems to be well made, and it has stainless steel molds which won't have plating detachment issues as I've read about on other unit's reviews. Other ice makers that produce cloudy ice or mush ice trap the minerals, and will taint the taste of your beverage. Clear ice is the purest and best! Pay attention to the instruction to let it sit 24 hours after setting it up, before you plug it in and turn it on. During shipment and unpacking, the unit may be tilted enough to allow the compressor oil to end up in places other than the crankcase. Letting it sit allows the oil to return to the crankcase. If you plug it in too soon, it could damage the compressor.

Reliable and still going strong 16+ months later!
UPDATE: We have officially had this for 2.5+ years, and it's STILL working perfectly! Love this ice machine. I rarely write reviews but was just talking about these with a family member and figured I'd give a little review. We bought this in March 2023 for $79 and have definitely gotten our money's worth. It is still going strong and makes consistent ice after the first couple rounds. I find it takes about 2-3 hours to make two full containers that we keep in our freezer. I'd imagine maybe double this if you are looking to fill a small/medium cooler. As many have pointed out (which I had read and understood prior to purchasing), this is NOT a freezer. The ice just sits in a tray. You can say the internal temperature stays "cool" from the ice, so it's not rapidly melting as if you're leaving it on the sidewalk.. but it is WET ice. What we typically do is dump the ice in the freezer.. and after a few minutes of flash freezing OR before dumping the next load, we use an ice pick to break it up so it's not just a giant block. We use this at least once a week but sometimes multiple days during the week and always have ice on hand. It is not completely silent, but the noise is not terribly intrusive to us. It does put off some slight heat from the exhaust fan, but again - nothing intrusive. All in all, we are very happy - and would definitely buy again if this ever stops working. Hope this helps!
