Leather Master Nubuck Eco Protector

This works really well with the nubuck cleaner (don't use separately, one needs the other) and the protector helps prevent future stains and preserves the leather, especially after the cleaning. Excellent company and product, best on the market.

I searched high & low for a nubuck protection product that was targeted for upholstery rather than for shoes, as well as one that was not an aerosol. This product fit the bill. I have 2 chamois-colored nubuck armchairs & a husband who loves to sit in them, & it was only a matter of time before something serious was spilled or dropped on them. I removed several small stains with a nubuck eraser (found in the shoe products aisle) before taking the chairs into the garage (with door open for ventilation) & applying the product as directed. I wiped the product off the exposed wood arms & legs with a soft cloth immediately, since I was unsure how the finish might be affected. It was fine. The leather darkened with the spray so it was easy to tell if I'd covered everything. The chairs dried quickly, the nubuck feeling a bit stiffer than before applying the product. The directions state to brush the dry surface with a large, clean sponge to restore the nap. I used a clean microfiber cloth since I did not have the appropriate sponge, & it seemed to work well. The chairs look great & fortunately we haven't had any "accidents" as yet to test its effectiveness. I used about 3/4 of the bottle to treat the inside & outside surfaces of lounge type armchairs with tight seats & backs (no loose cushions). I would recommend the product for ease of use & for minimizing the hazard of inhaling unhealthful chemicals.
