I used these pads to sand areas my larger sander could not reach. Wide assortment of grits from extra coarse to fine. The attachments fit my cordless drill & my Dremel. Highly recommend.

This kit contains a ton of discs that are billed for automotive but which can be used easily for woodworking due to the rough grit sizes.The backing plates are really quite good. I tested them out with a drill and a die grinder to good effect. The interface pads arrived a bit scrunched up, but they flattened out a bit over time. The hook surface grabs the loop surface of the discs fine, enough to keep it all in place while working.Initial tests on some white oak showed that these are handy... put a soft interface pad onto a backing disc and you can handle curved surfaces easily.

The sanding discs are high quality aluminum oxide grit with premium cloth hook and loop backing. These are great for use with random orbital sanders that take 3” pads like the Milwaukee shown in my photo. Also included are good quality sanding pads with foam attachments if you need padded sanding. Everything provided will work great on either wood or metal. The attachment thread provided on one pad is 1/4-20 which does not work directly with my Milwaukee because it has proprietary threading but it does work great with an easy to obtain thread adapter which I already had. Also provided is a second pad and thread posts that will allow you to use the discs and pad with any hand held drill. This configuration is great for use on a lathe. I strongly recommend this product, and it’s great value for the money.

Multiple different grids to work with. Used to repair some aluminum rims and they did an excellent job. Just have to use slow speed and have patience.. kit comes with everything needed.

I got this thinking it was something else but I have found it very useful. It allows me to sand some pretty small spots that I couldn't get with my palm sander.
