Works great, no issues to report. I've left the thermometer outside in the Arizona summer quite a few times and I have had no issues with it. It still operates like new. For those of you looking for a good thermometer, that's is consistently reliable, this is a great choice. Especially if you grill. The magnets are the perfect touch, I never lose this one because I stick it to my grill or fridge. I've lost countless others in junk drawers or the bottom of the dishwasher. Magnets work great on this. It's also one of the easiest to clean by far. I'm not sure what the metal is made of but it doesnt hold grease or food at all after a rinse.

I bought the red one. It exceeded my expectations! It has a magnet on the back which made it convenient to place where I wanted! Although it is large it does not fall off. It opens up to a beautiful clear, easy to read and light display. It was able to even tell me the air temperature accurately when I opened it. You’re able to hold it while cooking a lot better since the probe and the display are both long enough to not be too close to the food. It opens and closes easily. You can use it with cooked or raw food. I Intend on using it with cooked food as it is attached to my food display just to make sure my food stays at the correct temperature! But the surprise that I was not expecting, where the end of the probe sits, it’s like a clawed area that would easily help keep the probe clean AND in a safe position when not in use! 10/10 would buy again! And for the price, cannot beat it! So much better than the older ones! It came with a battery also, I see that as a plus and don’t really care how long it lasts as some do not come with batteries!

I’m not ashamed to admit that before this thermometer arrived, I’d achieved a 100% success rate in turning perfectly good meat into something resembling flavorless shoe leather. I lived in fear of opening the grill lid. That’s all over now, folks. This thing is the culinary equivalent of a superhero cape! It’s ridiculously fast; honestly, it registers the temp before I can even finish asking myself if I remembered to preheat the oven. The backlight is a lifesaver for late-night grilling sessions when I’m operating purely on instinct and beer light. Plus, the magnet? Genius. It lives right on the fridge next to my emergency supply list. Best of all, I accidentally baptized it in a pot of simmering beef stew (don’t ask how, it involved an elbow and poor coordination), and the IP67 waterproofing just laughed it off. It still works perfectly. If you want to stop serving jerky and start serving actual food, you need this.
