Internal Aquarium Filter with Aeration System, 120GPH Silent Small Aquarium Filter For 5 To 20 Gallons Submersible Aquarium Filter

I usually rely on Fluval, AquaClear, or Hygger aquarium filters, so I was excited to try this one for my 5.5-gallon betta tank during a fishless cycle. I opted for this filter because it offers additional media alongside the sponge, which seemed promising.Putting it together was straightforward, and the instructions were clear. However, I encountered significant issues with the valve regulator—it simply wouldn’t fit properly to adjust the flow.The real frustration arose when I tried to install the filter in the tank. Each time I positioned it against the glass, it fell apart as soon as I turned it on. Despite hearing a satisfying click when assembling it, there’s no outer latch to secure it. This lack of stability made it impossible to use effectively.After several attempts and growing frustration, I’ve decided to return this filter and stick with my reliable Fluval sponge filter. Unfortunately, this one just didn’t meet my expectations.

Perfect fit for small space

The power head should have made this a great filter but it is terrible. It immediately sounded like a train the vibration was so bad. I was afraid it would crack the aquarium glass. Terrifying for the fish. Would not recommend and won't buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly, I am really impressed with this filter. It’s small, but has a powerful pump. The waterfall is pretty powerful too. There’s an added bonus of a soothing sound that helps me relax. This filter was easy to assemble, easy to install in my tank, and began to immediate filter and clear the water in my tank. Filter uses both a sponge and filter rocks. Can be plugged into an outlet. Filter has an oxygen pump that can also be used to pump water out of the tank. Easy to maintain. As you can see, my turtle is extremely happy 😃🐢 It’s a great value for your money. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this product. EDIT/UPDATE: Very noisy unit, no means to adjust much of anything, poor quality plastic - just short of junk. I have an unusual configuration for my 2-tank system, I am putting a 7.5 gal. "turtle" tank on top of a 29 gal. It's a reptile tank because there is a 1" drain hole in the bottom. I'm using that to connect the 2 tanks with an acrylic tube, a fish road twixt the 2. I'll need about 6.5 - 7.5 GPM of return flow into the top tank from the bottom to account for the perpetual discharge, this will hang off the outside of the top tank to pick up from the lower and drop into the upper. Turning over about 450 GPH will be great circulation.

This is a very quiet aquarium filter. It is easy to do the initial assembly and comes complete with everything you need. The directions are basic and provide drawings to aid you. I have 2 concerns. One, it is quite small. I'm not sure it will work by itself in a 20 gal tank. Secondly, it comes apart quite easily. I put a strap around it to prevent this.

this is an ok filter but the oxygen tubing came all bent/creased up and doesnt work. Tried replacing with my own tubing but it still didn't work.

I have a 7 gallon take so it's a bit hard to find new pumps for it. This one is for up to 10 gallon tanks so it doesn't overpower the whole tank. I love that it has 3 different types of filters so it collects more junk than my old pump. Also, it is very very quiet. I cannot hear it at all.With this pump, my water has cleared up a lot and I have to clean it less than with the replaceable filter pump I was using.This pump is great!
