I’m really impressed with this whelping box setup. It came with everything I needed, which made the whole process so much easier—especially not having to buy extras separately. The included pee pads, puppy collars, and growth record sheets were a huge plus and showed a lot of thought went into this kit. One of my favorite features is that it’s made of plastic. It’s super easy to clean, which is a must when dealing with newborn puppies, and it feels durable enough to last through multiple litters. The size is also great—plenty of room for mom and puppies without feeling cramped. Overall, this is a convenient, all-in-one solution that takes a lot of stress out of preparing for a litter. Definitely a solid choice for anyone needing a reliable and easy-to-maintain whelping box.

This Whelping Box is my 3rd. I’ve had 3 litters at the same time in the past and wanna be prepared. It’s made of plastic & easy to clean. Simple & Easy to put together, all the panels slide into the corner posts. It is large enough for the damn and her puppies. This Whelping Pen will keep the puppies safe. In about 3-5 weeks they outgrow it making it easy for them to climb out. When this products arrives, it’s a good idea to open the box carefully & KEEP it. When your pups outgrow the pen, you can disassemble, clean & put it back in the same box for storage. I’m sure I’ll buy another one down the road. If you’re having even one litter I highly recommend getting this before they arrive.

This whelping pen has been a life saver. It’s roomy, suitable for pets, it fits my dog bed inside, super easy to wipe down. I would recommend to anyone who is having puppies. Easy to put together too.

As a small Yorkie breeder with Yorktown Yorkies, I couldn’t be happier with this whelping box. Even though it’s designed for large breeds, the space and build quality make it perfect for giving my Yorkie moms room to relax and safely care for their puppies. The setup was simple, it’s easy to clean, and the safety rails are a great touch — especially for new moms who need a little extra space without risking the pups getting rolled on. The material is sturdy but lightweight enough to move when needed. We’ve used a few other setups over the years, but this one is by far the most reliable and professional-looking. It makes whelping feel organized and stress-free for both mom and breeder. Highly recommend to anyone serious about their breeding program — big or small!

Easy to put together and super easy to keep clean. My only criticism is that it is hard to put puppy pottie pads inside because when you lift the sides to slip a bit of pad under the uprights to keep it in place, all the horizontal boards start to slide out. It would be great to have a 'keeper' plate on the BOTTOM of each upright as well as the caps that come with the kit. So other than the necessary several times daily replacement of the pottie pads and juggling the boards to keep them in place as I switch pads out, this is a great purchase.

I love this box but I should have got the accessories you will end up buying them in the end super easy to put together and clean seriously like a large leggy box took me 8 minutes to assemble

So we finally got to use this whelping box and there is a design flaw from the engineering aspect of this whelping box. There are no stops at the bottom of the corner stands, so when you go to swap out the pad the panels slip right out of the bottom and the whelping box falls apart allowing the side panels to fall out the bottom of the corner stands. I don’t recommend this specific product as I bought two of these for our mini Dachshunds . The size is perfect but the design flaws make it very difficult to swap out the pad that you would sit the whelping box on. Poor design flaw . However with that being said for the price of the box because we all should know that you get what you pay for. So I’m changing my review slightly due to the cost and effectiveness of the box . Yes it works as designed and keeps puppies safe. Yes it’s very easy to assemble . I give it a 3 star instead of a 2 😁
