POWERLIX Knee Compression Support Sleeve - Best Knee Brace for Men & Women

I'm a big guy; 6'3", 360lbs. My legs are much larger than the normal dude. I have knee issues, and occasionally I just can't walk past the pain without some assistance. I have purchased many knee braces over the years, and without fail, they have been too small and I simply could not get them on, let alone wear them. I recently saw this POWERLIX knee compression sleeve in a XXL, and I knew I had to try it. I appreciated right up front that they were not charging more for the XXL than they were for the smaller sizes. To me, that indicates that the company is not just trying to make a buck off of me just because I happen to be a larger man. If You ARE a larger person, You know that this is basically unheard of. So I was hopeful right up front. I purchased the LIX sleeve easily, of course, and they communicated with me right away, and all through the process. It came quickly, and so far so good. I eagerly put it on, and...it fit pretty good. Already ahead of what any other brace would have fit. Below the knee it was perfect. Above the knee, I am admittedly over-proportionately large. That's what happens when You are overweight. :) So, it was tight, and slightly uncomfortable on the fleshy portion of the back/underside of my thigh. Regardless, I kept it on, and it immediately improved my limping gait. While upright, the snugness is fine, and not uncomfortable at all. While sitting, it wants to curl slightly on the backside as my fat rolls it down. That is NOT the fault of the manufacturer...again, I have unusually large thighs. After wearing it for a few days, it does indeed slightly loosen as it adapts to my leg, and the slight pinch is less. I suspect it will stop pinching in a week or so, and I am also losing weight, so of course that will help it as well. I am extremely happy with this sleeve, and over the moon that it has helped increase my mobility and stabilized my gait enough to help expedite recovery. I'd suggest this to anyone who has purchased braces in the past only to be disappointed by the size or effectiveness.

If your knees get a little achy from time to time and warmth and compression take away the pain, then this sleeve is perfect for the job. I played football and participated in track & field in college, and have been pretty athletic most of my life. I've tried probably 30 compression sleeves over the course of the last 40 years, and without a doubt, this is the best one of them all. I measured 5" above the knee and the circumference of my thigh at that point was 18.5". I decided to size down to the Large because I'm dealing with a little more than average soreness and I wanted the slightly tighter compression. It arrived and fit exactly like I wanted it to. It comes up the right amount on my thigh, and it doesn't ride high on my calf which leads to the fabric scrunching up behind my knee. Fit is spot on. The fabric is tough, yet soft. It has a feeling of being substantial and high quality. The top has a silicone band that holds it on the thigh so it doesn't slip down. I've worn it for distances as far as a 4 mile walk and it pretty much stays where it starts. At the end of those walks, unlike on a neoprene sleeve, I don't pull it down and find a river of sweat coming with it -- it breathes nicely. I've been very impressed. Warmth = Check Compression = Check Support = Check Sweaty leg prevention = Check Happy with it = Check plus.

I first ordered these in April 2020 (for $19) in blue along with other pairs (in black and beige) between 2019 and 2021 for my physically intensive job and would have to say they held up well! I combined them with “Run Forever” calf compression sleeves for maximum effect and used both full-time while bending, stretching, twisting, throwing and running through everything from cardboard to metal and leg and knee pain were the least of my problems. At first I had the occasional slip and wear marks but as I got better at my job and my legs thinned out, these incidents became few and far between. I would caution against using them around sharp metal as unfortunately that easily produced tearing, but that is to be expected especially after the amount of running, jumping, hopping and general malarkey that was expected at work and may not apply to the average user. Also these sleeves are easy to wash and resistant to shrinkage, I would just move them periodically when air drying to keep them supple. This is without question the best knee brace I have ever warn, it provides excellent support, stability, and awesome range of motion, thank GOD, the search for the perfect knee brace is over, beacuse I was absolutely aggravated trying ro find one. My right knee has been hurting on both sides/LCL for several years and in that time I have tried a plethora of braces of every design, but they never lasted more than a month or two and then "BAM" the braces/hingeless started sliding down my leg, required tightening/hinged to the point I felt as though my blood circulation was being cut off, and when I would sweat it was useless to even attempt to put them on, basically, I wasted money on poorly made apparatuses but finally, knee brace excellence has been achieved, thank you JESUS. I have fat untoned thighs, so I thought this brace would slide down just like all of the prior ones I tried, but this time, I followed the measuring instructions precisely to make sure I purchased the right size/large, I received my brace last week and I wore it for 24hrs., yes, I slept with it on, and hallelujah!, It stayed in place, so needless to say I must buy at least 2 more for backups, I don't want to ever be without it, buy this knee brace "NOW" it's the game changer for your knees.

PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve - Best Knee Brace for Meniscus Tear, Arthritis, Quick Recovery etc. - Knee Support For Running, CrossFit, Basketball and other Sports - FOR BEST FIT CHECK SIZING CHART I have a meniscus tear in my knee and my only experience with a compression sleeve was the one from the hospital. It was too tight and my skin became very irritated from the latex. Ace bandages provided no support. I had so much pain I felt like I was never going to walk again. About 8 days ago I received the compression sleeve I was surprised how light weight it is. When I ordered the compression sleeve my thigh was very swollen on one side so I was concerned about the size to order. The first day I wore the sleeve the swelling went down and took away the pain. It fits perfectly giving me support from my thigh to the mid part of my calf. It is very comfortable, does not get hot or cut off my circulation. I forget that I have it on. The support keeps my leg straight, and my knee does not shift or buckle. I am able to do squats and other leg strengthening exercises, riding bicycle and climbing stairs. It stays put and does not slip or sag and easy to wash.

The product itself seems to work decently well. I'm not convinced the anti-slip gel squiggles are going to hold up, they seem pretty flimsy and not particularly well attached to the brace itself. But my initial impression is that the brace provides good support. However the product registration procedure is, in my opinion, problematic. The package insert says "register in one of these three ways" - but, guess what? They all require Facebook! And if you click "I don't have a Facebook account", it takes you to a page to create a Facebook account! They have a contact email address, and I reached out about the registration question. They gave me an alternative way to register... using a Google form that requires logging in! So, one way or another, to register your product you also have to give up personal information to a different company that monetizes your info. Overall - on the product itself, I'm giving it 4 stars since I am not sure it's going to hold up. But I'm dinging it a star for the absurd registration requirement. If the brace holds up better than I expect, I will return and add a star.

I've been wearing this compression sleeve for a couple of weeks now. I will say that this sleeve is comfortable and provides the support I require for long periods of time. Usually, I am unable to bend at the knee without being in pain, which means I have trouble walking up the stairs most days. Since I received my brace I wear it for hours at a time and it allows me to continue my active lifestyle with minimal to no pain. The only thing I noticed was that I had to go down in size, because my thighs and calves are so much bigger than my knee. I cycle and run regularly if that gives you mental picture. The sizing chart said I needed an XL but I needed a L instead to get the appropriate support. Although it was slightly an uncomfortable fit at first due to the fact it was so tight around my thigh, but after a few hours my body either adjusted to the pressure or it stretched enough to become comfortable. I would say that most people will require what the sizing chart suggests. The material is very durable and breaths well, I see myself using this compression sleeve often while running/cycling in the future. I have used other brands of compression sleeves and they are very thin and feel like I am wearing long socks, not this one, it actually provides support and it looks good.

Unfortunately in September I started having trouble with my right and then left knees. Went to some PT and massage therapy with modest success. Kept on running but fewer times per week and fewer miles. Ultimately went to see an ortho sports medicine specialist who saw some wear and tear and said I have mild arthritis but that I could still run ("your body will tell you what you can do"). I had some TC knee sleeves which are extremely light and candidly don't do a thing for me. I ordered some other knee sleeve/braces but most of them were too heavy or too difficult (the ones with four Velcro cross straps-forget it) to use. Then I found these sleeves. They are about 3 oz, so not too heavy, and about the right length. At first I used them just to wear at work during the day. My floors at the office are basically cement with a tiny cheap carpet over them, so it was brutal. Now I use the sleeves at work as needed, but also run with them, so I ordered two pairs. It's only been about 3 weeks or so, and these are the best product I've seen of the four I've tried. Very reasonably priced and I do think they are durable enough to last for a year or two. We'll see. They give the right balance of compression without being restrictive in movement. I'm running fairly well all things considered and I don't seem to mind having 3 additional ounces on each leg. The only issue, as I've reported before is the company has poor QC in terms of mass production. I've ordered 4 of these (two pairs), all the same size yet each of them are different lengths. The difference is almost a half inch from the shortest to the longest and candidly when I'm running its noticeable. But not enough that I'd send them back for a refund. It is a very good product so I can live with that imperfection.
