Vanish Carpet Cleaner + Upholstery, Pet Expert Foam Shampoo, Large Area Cleaning, 600 ml

My carpet is at least ten years old; it’s short pile and in the lounge where there’s heavy footfall. I’ve had professional carpet cleaners that have made little difference. I have two dogs and a cat and i tested a main thoroughfare strip right in front of the open fire where the coal dust and foot fall is most evident. I wasn’t expecting miracles! This was a last ditch attempt to make the carpet last another six months.This product is so easy to use. I sprayed a good layer on and watched it expand quickly. I used a clean dust pan brush(that’s all i had) to rub it in until it had almost disappeared; then left it over night.In the morning the room smelt beautiful and before I’d even hoovered it up i could see an amazingly clean strip of carpet. I’m blown away how effective it is. I’m definitely stocking up on this product.

When my dog was unwell I really didn’t think I’d be able to remove the stains and smells from my PURE WHITE rugs! But this absolutely smashed it! Not only did it remove the stains and smells, it left my rugs as soft as they were before said dog was poorly! So simple to use! Not a trace of any awful substances and rugs looking as good as new

I've purchased this product on multiple occasions now and am happy with the outcome each and every time. Although we have a large rug and it ends up using the whole can in one go - totally worth it for the end results!

We bought a light grey rug at the beginning of the summer, not thinking about muddy paw prints come the wet weather (and boy do we get it in East Devon!).The dogs are dried after their walks but there’s bound to be residue mud but this Vanish spray foam really works, I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Really effective solution, but it won’t be as easy as you might think it will.Firstly, it will get the brightest dirt off, but it won't clean off the deep stains. I had some marks that water hoover didn’t get but this solution got it off.Once you apply the foam, have a brush with sharp knots as you will have to scrub it for a little while till you see the effect. It wont help if you leave the foam to stay on the carpet for longer as it will just sunk it all in. I held it for 30sec and then started brushing it.The smell of the foam is quite bad, when you spray it on and start brushing it will start giving you shivers as it’s quite bad. It won’t give you a fresh smelling carpet just a clean carpet, hence the 3 stars.Added a before and after pictures.

I can't comment on stains as that's not what I got it for, but for smells it's 5 stars. I have an autistic 3 year old son who unfortunately vomits a lot and tends to do so on my carpet, and no matter what I do I can't get rid of the stench after, and I've tried every hack. So I came across this and thought I'd give it a try. I was so surprised that it worked as the stench from his latest episode was driving me mad even though I had scrubed it with bleach and vinegar and dettol. Just be wary the tin doesn't cover a very large area, I would say a maximum of 1m squared if you want to get proper deep coverage, maybe double that for lighter coverage. Also you have to spray it on the carpet then brush it in with a broom, and leave It for 4 hours before hoovering it. The smell of it is quite strong so wear a mask and open a window.

Easy to use, great smell

I always use this, it gets everything out: curry, tea, vomit! Not had a red wine disaster yet so can't confirm it's effectiveness for that. I do have a pet but haven't had to use this for her, I presume it would work on any accidents as it works on curry and vom.I also like the powder version for large areas, but I like thst the spray sinks into the carpet/upholstry.
