Shel Silverstein, the New York Times bestselling author of The Giving Tree, A Light in the Attic, Falling Up, and Every Thing On It, has created a poetry collection that is outrageously funny and deeply profound. Come in...for where the sidewalk ends, Shel Silverstein's world begins. This special edition contains 12 extra poems. You'll meet a boy who turns into a TV set, and a girl who eats a whale. The Unicorn and the Bloath live there, and so does Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout who will not take the garbage out. It is a place where you wash your shadow and plant diamond gardens, a place where shoes fly, sisters are auctioned off, and crocodiles go to the dentist. Shel Silverstein's masterful collection of poems and drawings stretches the bounds of imagination and will be cherished by readers of all ages. This is a collection that belongs on everyone's bookshelf. Makes a great gift for special occasions such as holidays, birthdays, and graduation. And don't miss Runny Babbit Returns, coming in fall 2017! Review: EVERY YOUNG KID NEEDS THIS IN THEIR LIBRARY! - When I retired from teaching, I gave away all my books. This is one of the classic kids' books that needs to be in every child's library so I rebought them again for the little girls I babysit. Boys and girls from 2nd through 4th grade enjoyed these poems as does the 4-year-old I babysit. They are fun and whimsical. All ages can enjoy Shel Silverstein's books! Review: My 9 year old granddaughter loves it. - The book is funny and entertaining.

Awesome poetry book with a little bonus
This book has meant a lot to me over my 30 year teaching career. I am a mentor to a new teacher, and got her this, passing on my joy of Shel Silverstein. She was so grateful and is going to share the humorous poems with her students next year!

Passing Shel onto the next generation!
Bought this for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He always wants me to read him books and I was a big Shel fan growing up so I figured it would be cool to share that with him and pass the same stories down to him. And it’s really cool that this one has extra poems that the originals didn’t.

Os outros são: A Light in the Attic (192 páginas) Falling Up (178 páginas) Every Thing On It (202 páginas) Runny Babbit (90 páginas) Runny Babbit Returns (90 páginas) Todos de capa dura e em inglês. Este, "Where the Sidewalk Ends" tem 192 páginas. É uma edição especial que tem um adicional de 12 novos poemas do artista.
