Found this yerba drink to have a pleasant enough flavour. Where it excels is the kick you get from it; a couple of spoonfuls is similar to a strong cup of coffee. So it makes an ideal beverage if you're looking for a coffee alternative with the caffeine effect.

I've drunk different types of Yerba Mate, but this one is the first time I've found it to be incredibly delicate in taste. It gives me energy for many hours, I recommend it, and I love it.

The instruction on the bottom for cup brewing seem to show that 2 rounded tsp should be put in a cup filter with 90C water, then left to brew for 3 minutes, fine for one cup, but hassle for more. I also see instructions there to fill a Bombilla 3/4 full (wasteful?), filled with 40C water, and stirred, but wasn't impressed by the unreliable filter straws, so dropped than method fast. I figured out that my preferred way to brew it now is, to putting about 8 rounded tsp of it, about 1/32 tsp of Stevia extract, about 2 tsp (10ml) of Coconut Oil, and 90C water, in a 1L insulated French Press, stirring it up, then leave it to brew for at least 3 minutes. The Stevia deals with the bitterness and the Coconut oil makes it creamier.

I used to drink yerba mate but in a tea bag form. I realized it is much better as a loose tea and gives you much more of the benefits, more natural. The taste is quite earthy and grassy. Most people like to drink it traditionally out of a cup with a bombilla (I hope I spelled it right) straw but I use my french press and it is just as fine too. If you are new to this tea you will have to experiment a little bit to find the perfect temperature and how you prefer to brew it. I also like it cold brings out the flavouring more.

I made the mistake of thinking this would taste like herbal tea but it takes just like normal tea and VERY strong ( which is great if you are a tea drinker) I didn’t feel any energising effects unfortunately so I stopped drinking it. It is however value for money as the pack is huge!

I work nights as a warehouse picker for the Co-operative (great job & love it!!) so I need to stay alert & awake while driving my picking truck... I thoroughly enjoy Yerba Mate & wanted to try a more flavoured variety so I seen this on amazon & went for the dive (so to speak😁🤣) & i adore it.. I drink it out my "herbal tea Flask" sometimes cold (ish) but mostly hot lol.. Depends how long I've left it for silly me🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️... I would highly recommend this 1010% it's delightful & not over powering & bitter & not dusty either witch I like.. I've purchased some YM witch have been somewhat dusty 😂still drank them though merely because of the YM health benefits🤯!! Thank you & enjoy Ps tastes better than "authentic green tea" 😋

Attention...je rappelle que le maté est vendu sous forme de feuille hachée alors que la guarana est vendu sous forme de poudre. Inutile de le tamiser...sinon achetez du maté classique! Ce maté consommé en calebasse est difficilement filtré par la bombilla (notamment la poudre de guarana). Personnellement je fais infusé ce maté dans une théière avec un filtre très fin. Je le trouve très agréable en bouche avec une petite touche de fumé, il est très performant les matins difficiles. Dommage qu'il ne soit pas bio!!! Je recommande.

This is one of my favorite yerbas ive tried. It is a good yerba for any time of the day. The energy level relatively powerful but not overwhelming. The taste of Guarana reminds me of a red berry like raspberry. It has a menthol like cool note that balances the sweetness while letting the natural taste of the yerba to come through in a harmonious way. It's super easy to drink and is great for beginners or experienced drinkers looking to have a new experience.
